it is now clear sinhala government had tried to have defence pact with india and failed.
now doing all sort of dirty works.
they first fired at indian fishermans and put the blames on Tigers and the fiserman knows the truth.
there are certain newspapers like hindu who are working against hindu publishing all false stories and started the blame on tigers and Indian government also thought increasing support to tigers in Tamil nadu also may cause problem to india therefore india thought to play same srilankan lie game.
they restricted all fishermen from talking to media and get only one man to say they were abducted by tamil tigers.
now all fishermens are back home and the little boy says what has happend.
they were fishing in deep sea and they were approched by boat and they had taken them to srilanka and they initialy said they would free us next day but they kept us for thiteen days. it was sinhala navy and even when they came to drop us in indian water some other sinhala navy saw us and fired at us without knowing they were sinhala navy too.
they they contacted via their communication and talked to some high command and the firing stoped. |

This is sooo unfair! Indian Govt, Press, TN Chief Minister, TN Police Chiefs, TN Police Q branch, Maldivian Govt, Maldivian Cost Guard..oh bugger.. the whole world is against the LTTE are they? What have they done to deserve this??
Only one little boy is helping LTTE! And the whole Indian press is ignoring him. Why wont atleast TamilNet publish his story! |

I would have liked to see what he actually had said, not really your interpretation of the story ;)
Anyhow why is all the other media is silent on this story still? it's about 3 days now since they were released isn't it? What could be the reason only Tamil media (or is it just one paper and one TV station?) is publishing it? do you recon all the other media outlets in India are controlled by GoSL or GoI?
If the fishermen + boat were abducted by SLN what could be the reason for taking one of them and the boat with 8 SLN to Maldives? For a vacation?
Who ever in the boat had shot at Maldivian fishermen, if it was SLN what could have been the reason?
Maldivian coast guard is saying that the confrontation dragged on for several Hours and people in the boat had fired at the Coast Guard vessal. If it was SLN people who were manning the boat, what could have been the reason? all they would have had to tell Maldivian Coastal guardsmen that they were SLN and Maldivians would have verified it with Colombo don't you think?
Now 4 people inthe boat said to have died in teh confrontation, who could that be? And if the people who manned the boat didnt attack maldivians max what would have happend was they were taken in to custody. Why would SLN want to make a huge problem when it could have easily avoided?
I dont know what this boy says(since nobody else willing to publish this in english), but what does the other 10 peopl say?
Could you please tell me whats the paper this article was published in? Any idea why TamilNet wont use this to clear LTTE's name in this case? Even SiberNews didn't use it nor TamilEditors.com. Does that mean anything to you mate? |
