The time has come for the UN and United states to give a massive slap( left and right ) to these sinhala leaders to stop this war.
Stop all foreign aides to this sinhala government and send peace keeping force to the north and east to chase away all sinhala arm forces from Tamil areas. |

Sri Lanka Marxists' propaganda newspaper in financial crisis

May 18, Colombo: Sri Lanka Marxist People?s Liberation Front (JVP) run unofficial Sinhala weekend newspaper Lanka is reportedly close to collapse due to a severe financial crisis.
It was reported that the newspaper management is in debt of millions of rupees to the printer of the newspaper.
Lanka newspaper which is one of the major propaganda organs of the JVP lost its market gradually during the past few months.
'Lanka' closed; reopening doubtful
(LeN-2007 May 18, 7.00 pm) Publishing of the 'Lanka' news paper, published by the JVP, Lanka Multi Publishers Company Private limited, has been temporarily suspended due to a financial issue.
The 'Lanka' newspaper was being published every Friday but was not issued today.
When 'LeN' questioned the editorial why the paper was not published, a spokesperson said it was not printed due to a technical fault. When we asked whether it would be published next week he said it is doubtful due to the present circumstance. When LeN go in touch with the editor of the 'Lanka' news paper Dharma Sri Kariyawasam he said the paper was in a financial crisis as it does not receive any advertisements and that any political party doesn't help them.
The paper is being published in the Upali Printing corporation in high level road and it is being reported to 'LeN' that since the 'Lanka' paper owes them 18 million rupees, they have refused to print the paper. Earlier the paper has been printed at the Standard printing corporation and it is being reported that 'Lanka' owes them 5.5 million rupees as well.
The 'Lanka' newspaper that spoke highly about war and stood for the war therefore owes more that 23 million rupees to printing presses.
Not many takers for JVP punnaku now. |

SLFP occupies the extremist ground of the JVP.
What the extremists used to read in the 'Lanka' is available now in the Govt controlled Daily News, Defence.lk etc and funded Asiatribune and the racist 'the Island'.
SLFP gave racist-Marxist JVP a life-line in the last general election with an Electoral Pact to play the role of preventing or stopping any measure or move that the govt. pretend to offer to minorities (i.e., P-TOMS, continued merger of NE etc) by either going to Sinhalese Supreme Court or organise marches in the streets to rekindle anti-Tamil riots.. |

All these Puli's are behind the LTTE Tigers, are they afraid of them or playing a double game ??????
Either way they are winners.............
On the one hand riding the tiger vehicle for their gains and on the other hand waiting for the GOSL to overcome the tigers to shout our Mother Country.... liberated.
Either way its fine for them.
Their kith & kin who are left behind in SL are enjoying the Dollar remittances to have a comfortable life.
Knowing the situation in the country, complain of arrest in Colombo. Its time the Tamils enjoying their life elsewhere among the majority community have an OBLIGATION.
Just do not entertain Tamils from the North & East who have flimsiest of connections to them. GOSL security providers will need to check their anticidents & authencity.
Therefore, lindly CO-OPERATE. Once these tamil peoples bona fide's are checked, they will be released.
I am wondering how I too could make a visit to the Wanni ?????
If no harrasment is required, ask Prabakaran to surrender and send no money to the LTTE to send innocent tamils to the slaughter and rob them of their youth.

One thing is clear.
Those who detained by police in Colombo on suspicion or otherwise have one BIG advantage.
I assume most of them (who usually hassled by police or army and get arrests) are in Colombo to use KIA for their get a away to a foreign soil either legally or otherwise.
Fortunately these arrests are give them better chance or speedy process in their visa/ refugee status engagements.
This will also enable their counter parts in other countries to lodge the application and speed them up.
Often they will have all the official documents regarding their arrests are produced as valid evidence in combination with medical reports (torture /assault ?) at the embassies for their clear passage. Now days, they also have plenty of paper cuts and web pages to concrete their cases.
Good on you people. Make use of the stupid law and orders.
Once they exit the country, GoSL expecting them NOT to support Tigers with out realising that will be the only aim these innocents can think of as a sweet revenge for their nightmares??.
--if a hardcore tiger wants, MR will send his own helicopter to receive him. eg., Daya master.
Ordinary arrests in Colombo will be just a show case.

LTTE does not feel the loss of Anton Bala because Traitor Ranil is a far more effective spokesman for the Tigers since he claims to be a Sinhalese...
