Absolutely right.
LTTE carders always carry money.
It is the inocent poor Tamil civilians who get harressed .
Doing such things will help solve the problem?
Tell me when a LTTE carder got cought in such raids?
LTTE travel in style in Colombo and with police escort , the police know it. This is just a show.
If they can't squeeze anything from these poor civilians they would end up dead in a swamp some place.
End of story.

In your dreams you day dreamer. You wouldn't get a yard without your ID in high security areas.
I actually pity the fact that tamils face these issues. I know a tamil girl in colombo who couldn't make it to crescat for a treat because its inside the high security zone. Its not the end of the world but i still pity that. Having said that, two more points.
Reason why military has to do this is because of the earlier experience with LTTE suicide bombers. They even used a pregnant lady. Now where the hell was tamilnet when that happen? Where was their earth shattering compassion for civilians for that.

More and more Sinhala people are setting foot in Vanni recently... Sinhala people who loves their country are going to VP to find how they can save the country from monks, MR brothers, JVP, and other chuvanists... may of them want VP to take over the whole island... ! |

Developed Countries even today provide economic subsidies to their farmers.
Country like Sri Lanka which has an agriculture based Economy should never cut subsidies to farmers.

This is just a day day to harassment of innocent Tamil Civilians..Look at the way it is reported.
14 Tamil Civilians ARRESTED..it should be simply taken in for questioning..The heading basically shows as if these have committed a CRIME!! a lot of people walk around without Identity cards so what?
By the way..is it neccessary to check and take these innocent people in when LTTE has a lite aircraft to come and get their job done from Vanni... |
