problem is when that some one wants to hit again and again? would you show him again? then you would have pain in your neck instead cheek.lol. This is what happening in real life buddy. |

I did not run away from lanka. i waited two years after the riots in 83 before moved to middle east for a job..as You know i am married to a burgher!!
when is the due date? Kids are the gift of GOD..they are just wonderful malli.. |

I think it is not about the sinhala race as such but it is their political leaders who created this mess. You get lovely sinhala people all around the world but unfortunately due to the problems back at home in some places they do not mix anymore with Tamils..it is the same with Tamils..
In fact the old Sinhala politicians created most of hatred to get power by manipulating Sinhala nationalism...
The other day a friend of mine gave me a book written by the 1st chancellor Iver Jennings of Univ of Peradeniya (then called Univ of Ceylon).. Jennings was apparently involved with writing the constitution when the country became independent... there were some issues related to the representation by Tamils and the % of Tamils...
Jennings had asked DS Senanayaka, who was dealing with British, 'How many Tamils you want to have in the parliment..' DS had told Jennings, 'I do not care how many as long as they are Ceylonese'....
after I read this my respect for DS grew.... that time, they did not care much about Tamils vs Sinhalese... but, later politicians created hatred and thus the present situation....
I am not sure how the situation in SL would be settled in a final solution... but, to solve the problem Sinhalese need a very strong leader who is not a racist... at this time I do not see any such leader... thus we drive more and more to the extremes...! |
