It should be fact. Otherwise why all the jvp uprisings failed. probably the sinhala society is sort of stagnant society not used to changes.
The JVP uprising failed due to WEAK LEADERSHIP and may be lack of support and funds..It can be also said their real Vision and planning on a long term basis..
I do not think it is the society as such but i may be wrong!! |

when they failed to prove their identity and the reason for their presence in the location, are still being detained in the police station and interrogated,
The police took into custody about 25 Tamil civilians in the operation.Eleven were released after they proved their identity and the purpose of staying in the location,
I almost missed my flight for the same reason, it is not a Tamil only thing, just the way things are taking place under the current circumstances. |

in my opinion the LTTE the Monster was created by the past Gosl and also by some sinhalese who went on rampage looting, killing and raping innocent tamil civilians..

yes for you guys LTTE is monster, because as long as LTTE is there you can nnot take any advantage. so you are justtifing GOSL bombing and raping and sweetly talking with sinhalese.
DID you say 'NO' atleast when your sinhala friend said GOSL and mahinda is not doing enough for tamils..? |

I agree all go through checking!! we should not deny that, but malli the reality is that the chances of a Sinhalese man arrested for not carrying a ID card is very remote compare to Tamils..
do you really believe given the present situation there are so many Tamils not carrying any ID papers and all the Sinhalese do!! I guarantee u, the Tamils in Wella will always carry ID's cos it is the place where they check everyone always!!
These Tamils are taken in even with their ID's showed..i will call that difference in treatment!! |
