Sinhalese 73.8%, Sri Lankan Moors 7.2%, Indian Tamil 4.6%, Sri Lankan Tamil 3.9%, other 0.5%, unspecified 10% (2001 census provisional data)

- Data from USA government sources as of July/2006.

Total population in SL = 20,000,000
Tamil population = 20,000,000 X 3.9/100 = 780,000
Jaffna tamils = 390,000 (assumed 50%)
(15-35) year range = 390,000x (35-15)/70
= 1,11428

1,11428 is the total number of Tamils available for war including disabled. No wonder why LTTE conscripts children, they are out of man-power, only online forum fighters available.

	So why do you need to have a recrutement drive? We follow implemented procedures in SLDF, it's not like grab kids out of school and brainwashed with bogus history and hate , then send to FDL to cross minefield.
