AnGamPora,
good karma, my foot!
so if you are a killer, and you don't fear battles, good karma comes your way?
Yes because Truth is the ultimate Judge. The reason why you kill is what gives you that authority - whether you kill to save others or whether you kill for your own pleasure.
is it that simple, Gaja?
please enlighten this humble Buddhist...
Truth is simple. But we often do not stay in our Truth because we desire what others seem to have. This is why Lord Buddha renounced desires and realised enlightenment. That is the path of renouncement. Krishna said 'fight' when it is your duty to fight. When you fight for duty, the net visible/tangible result for yourself is zero. Anyone who fights on that basis - is earning good karma.

Magha,
I am sure the stupid Tamil morons would rather clean toilets in the west and spend their earnings to destroy Tamils of Sri Lanka funding LTTE terrorism for the Tamil Eelam Day dream than liberating Tamils from LTTE Terrorism they have been hoodwinked in to.
Yes, Tamils would rather clean toilets that they feel is part of their home than be lords under a government that they do not relate to. What do YOU see wrong with it?

..In Kilinochchi, the main rebel-held city, the cease-fire seemed a distant notion as a pair of warplanes dropped flares to light up a rebel mortar position in the jungles beyond town. Farmers and insurgents scrambled into dank, makeshift bomb shelters as the jets dropped their bombs, OBLITERATING A REBEL MORTAR POSITION.
Yes still here old boy, I liked that bit too, do you know why?
because so called 'night attack' capability of your air farce seems to depend on lighting from flares, how quaint, which in turn seems to give everyone concerned, LTTE or civilian time to get cover.
Now back to the downed MIG, so you are an Iqbal fanboy now eh ;) Well I'm sure he's pleased, so ready to believe that your government is hiding thousands of dead as MIAs? Iqbal said that too, and lots more.
You just confirmed my point old boy, whoever it is, his source is still from within the air force. Do you remember after the first attack only very selected personnel were allowed any where near the 'minor damage' LOL.
Wonder who is wrong more often Tamilnet or the MoD? I think history answers that question quite easily no ;) Edited By - Revy - 18 May 2007 05:29:01 GMT |

Revy your back!!.. :)

Indeed geezer!!.. but not for long.. :)
Now back to the downed MIG, so you are an Iqbal fanboy now eh ;) Well I'm sure he's pleased, so ready to believe that your government is hiding thousands of dead as MIAs? Iqbal said that too, and lots more.
Yes I wonder where he got this from considering his source is inside the army!!.. :)
according to your logic shouldn't this source be feeding our local defence analyst a line of ''punnaku'' as you so like to call it??
You just confirmed my point old boy, whoever it is, his source is still from within the air force. Do you remember after the first attack only very selected personnel were allowed any where near the 'minor damage' LOL.
Indeed so.. funny however that these same damaged aircraft are still flying!!..
Yet you still haven't answered my point!!..
Tell me then!!.. how is it that these same sources that reveal to Iqbal Athas that there are 1000 MIA, Airforce personnel that trip over and accidentally shoot themselves, erroneously report to our defence pundit about a missing mig!! Funny no!!.. :)
Wonder who is wrong more often Tamilnet or the MoD? I think history answers that question quite easily no ;)
Ehh!!.. lets see now..
Tell me Revy..
How is it, given this NEW ''mysterious'' SAM threat supposedly over the Mullathivu district from the 30th of April, SLAF Mig bombers on the 12th May are streaking over Mullathivu at very LOW altitude!!.. what happened to this automated defence mechanism?? What happened to this new shipment of SAM's??
Tell me - is it normal for SLAF pilots, who've just had their supposed colleague shot down a week ago, to be streaking over enemy territory at 300ft, knowing there is a SAM threat?? :)
tamilnet appears to have fed our diligent brethren a bucket load, a free buffet of faecal matter.. funny no!!.. :)
like I said.. I'll look forward to the next time tamilnet shafts itself by reporting that 4 MiG's flew over us and dropped some bombs!!.. |

Ohh!!.. I forgot to add..
Funny no, that tamilnet failed to report the death of the LTTE communication chief when SLAF Kfirs dropped a bucket load of bombs on his location??
Tell me Revy.. why did tamilnet fail to inform its readers on such a dramatic event??
Could it be that this event occurred quite coincidentally a couple of weeks after tamilnet reported that 40% of the SLAF bomber fleet, which would happen to be around 4 of the 9 Kfirs with the SLAF, were destroyed??.. :) |

Also, TN embarrassed themselves again by publishing some fabricated story about the bishop of jaffna and the army commander's meeting at pallaly, indicating the bishop had condemned the capture of some students (probably cos their terrorists who work for the LTTE). To add to their emmbarrasment, the bishop in question wrote a letter to the commander condemning TN and proclaiming they are lying. Read the letter for yourself if you don't believe me.
