However security forces now say that it was a rehearsal.
Kattunayake, Palaly, Kolannawa. Are these three rehearsals not enough? |

The timing should be good with O/L crash rate at 51%.
At least the boys and girls in south have a chance to go up to O/L, not like recruiting at 5th grade to the broiler chicken baby brigade,.....
They have to sacrifice their life and the other things to the higher LTTE leaders too .....
But it's pathetic to see half of the O/L population going down the drain,..
I think it's time for the GOSL to impose some responsibility matters to the school teachers too, they don't really reach thinking the students go to the tuition classes, and kids at tuition classes don't really learn,.....
Let the country have more and more Super stars, then the other 50 % will also flunk,.... Good for the politicians, they are creating a dumb generation, so that they can do anything they want.. |

Not true. Because, some of these 50% become underworld gang leaders. They are the future ministers! Because they satisfy the minimum requirement to become a minister! |

What's the point, before the release of the sham SLFP proposal the world went along with it as a sign of building 'southern concensus' but now that ModayaBAKAse has been exposed for the idiot he is, and the proposal worth less than the paper they are printed out on, it doesn't matter even if the whole UNP minus RW crossed over LOL. Who cares!

Who is going to pay for this additional troops?. Already our military budget is a burdan to the country. I suppose we must encourage volunteers to serve in the forces. If the government can introduce an incentive scheme to the personnel work in the volunteer and reserve military forces, you can increase volunteer cardre easily. Unfortunately presently there is no such scheme and therefore people working the volunteer forces do not get any benefit. At present people working in volunteer forces get two month salary in addition to the normal salary they receivet from their permanant employment for each mobulization, generally once mobulized they have to serve more than year continuously.
Some senior regular forces officers do not like to increase the volunteer cardre thinking that it will affect for their ranks. |
