COLOMBO (Reuters) - Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa on Wednesday defied moves by Britain and the United States to halt some aid to the island over human rights concerns, saying the state would go it alone if necessary.
If we are offered genuine aid we will take it,' Rajapaksa's office quoted him as saying. 'If not, we will forget about aid and do our job.

Even the President loves the LTTE. If it was not for the VP , MR will never be president.

received 147 complaints against militant groups and political parties for abducting children. Of these 71 has been against the Karuna group
When you read the report carefully it will become clear the children are being kept from the GoSL. As It is Karuna and gang who are the major criminals in this operations.
Since Karuna is the Right hand of Mahinder and Gang and GoSL then SL is the major culprit when it comes to child abductions. |

Don't believe everything you read. Just like some of you who still believe they are the ones who made MR President.
There are still some who still believe all the propoganda of the MR gov.
Do you think VP will give up the East so easily?
