To those supporters of the terrist SL Navy
On 13 May, 2006 unidentified gunmen widely believed to be SLN soldiers, reportedly entered the home of Sellathurai Amalathas in Allaipiddy and opened fire. Eight people were killed on the spot, including a four-month-old baby and four-year-old boy, and one other person died later in hospital.
Allaippiddi is a coastal village in Kayts, one of Jaffna Islets.
Until today extremist president took no action to investigate those hyennus murders. Whom is he protecting? Edited By - nirupam - 13 May 2007 12:30:18 GMT |

Vivi and Sinhala co,
If you think Tamils will be your slaves, you are making a great fault.
If you think bombing Tamils on daily base will make Tamils becoming friends with Singhalas terrorists , don't over enjoy.
Don't dream until there is bombings in NE, the people will hate GOSL and Singhalas, it is a Truth. |

Take for an instance UK, United Kingdom as the name suggests that three Kingdoms hand in hand. We need somthing similar but without discussion and understanding and a compromise its hard one.
In 1999 ,Tony Blair created the scotland parliament to devolve the power. But today SNP, scottish nationalist are trying to break the union to become independent country.
They are going to hold a referendum for independence.Power devolution could bring seperation in SL.Only way to dsetroy the LTTE & live in a Unitary country.
Queen and Brown join forces to save Union
By JONATHAN OLIVER - More by this author »
The Queen is to join forces with Gordon Brown to prevent the break-up of the Union between Scotland and England.
Mr Brown, who shares the Queen's grave fears about independence for Scotland, will travel to Balmoral, her Highland residence, shortly after he is confirmed as Prime Minister.

Vivi and Sinhala co,
You can win a piece of ground military, but you cannot win a people's heart killing them. It is another Truth.
But Singhalas cannot understand that as they are a heartless people. |

| SLN does not need to kill Indian fishermen and this may be another violant act of LTTE. They do not like SLN working with Indian military forces and try to damage the good relation between Indian Forces and Sri lanka. If Indians train our military forces what is the purpose of killing Indian fishermen by SLN?. |

Hi Kula,
Its a pity, there are only a few of us caught between the two extremes, trying to convince people to think.
Its understandable why we are at loggerheads with this issue.
Its a catch 22 situation. LTTE appears not to settle for any devolution other than an arbitrary separate state concept and the GOSL has not addressed the issue in a serious manner than coming for DC (which I believe is puerile).
The only thing that appears to me is another barren time to pass by without any contsruction in any sense.
The only benefactors in this muddle are the two extremes LTTE get their money from the diaspora who blindly support for war, and the Rajapakshas and his cronies in the name of war, funds get released to their bank accounts. The country and the people who talk for peace get nothing but keep arguing to convince for no avail. Am I right?

Only way to dsetroy the LTTE & live in a Unitary country.
To be dumb as a Sinhala.
Never there can be a so-called unitary country now ! Just wake up, the pain of NE people is now too much great because of the occupation of the mono ethnic Sinhala army !!
The fact that 'Sri lankan' army is a mono-ethnic Sinhala army, just proof that unitary country is only a dream of Sinhalas. |

Truck ferrying communication sets to rebels arrested in northern Sri Lanka, four Tigers killed
Sunday, May 13, 2007, 5:47 GMT, ColomboPage News Desk, Sri Lanka.
May 13, Colombo: Sri Lanka Police arrested two people and a truck ferrying global positioning systems (GPS) and communication sets to the Tamil Tigers at a check point in Vavuniya Saturday evening, defense officials said.
The truck was stopped for a check after a Police Constable taking a ride in the truck became suspicious over the behavior of the driver and his assistant. Upon searching the truck authorities found 30 GPS devices and 479 communication sets including 29 of new type packed inside 32 large television sets. The truck was supposedly distributing grocery items such as onions and potatoes.
The driver, his assistant and the lorry, were taken into custody by the Vavuniya Police for further investigations.
Meanwhile in Mannar, a clash between Sri Lankan troops and a group of Tamil Tigers who were near the forward defense lines in the Periyathampane area killed four Tigers on Saturday (12) night, the military said.
