Three MiG-27 fast attack aircrafts belonging to Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) dropped 12 bombs in two sorties one at 7:30 a.m. and another at 11:20 a.m Friday in Kaively Puthukkudiyiruppu area causing damages to civilian residences, sources in Mullaitheevu said. Two MiG-27s dropped eight bombs in the same area at 11:a.m. Friday, according to residents in Kaively. Local residents trained on safety measures escaped injuries by taking refuge inside bunkers during the air-attacks, according to civil society sources in Kaively.

Five houses of town`s residents were damaged by the two air attacks, according to local sources.

Two 100kg gravity bombs carried in MiGs underwing pylons fell near the house of a local resident. Suresh and his two children were hiding inside the bunker and escaped unhurt, Suresh told TamilNet.

More than 500 students in nearby Kaively Ganesha Vidiyalayam also scattered and took refuge inside school bunkers at the sound of the aircrafts.

Due the targetting of the Puthukkudiyiruppu area by the SLAF in the last few weeks, many local residents are temporarily relocating to nearby safer places, civil society sources in Mullaitheevu said.

SLAF is marking the area that belongs to Eelam. This way there won't be any difficulty in finding the boarders of Eelam.

Eelam can start an iron factory with the remnants of those bombs our neighbur dropped.

Indians must take a note of her neibour's behaviour. Former great PM of India Mrs Indra Gandhi warned Pakistan not to bomb its territory East Pakistan but the present leaders are of lower calibre.

20 bombs only 4 houses were damaged !
What happened to the other 16 bombs ? Where were they ? Imagine, if there were 20 bombs were dropped in an area, it should at least damage more than 4 houses.... !!
So the other 16 bombs were dropped in the jungle,.....
Pathetic SLAF,.... They wasted 16 bombs,...
LTTE should be happy to have such an inefficient air force in GOSL, rather than whining .....

India and Pakistan are two different legitimate countries,

Ealam is in Sri Lanka and Ealam is not a legitimate country,....
I agree the leaders are low caliber,.. But we are in the same Sri Lanka,.... Once you get your Tamil Homo Land, you can say WE bombed YOUR country,... Till then pray for Sun Dog...

This report is complimenting the SLAF work.

20 - 100 Kg bombs. Only five houses wwee damaged.

when we count the exagerations by Trumpet net, excellent job.

SLAF should bomb the suspected aircraft hanger in Wilpaththu too.

This area should be infested with LTTE maggots. that is why they know that supersonic jets would be flying high altitude.

Again, where is the LTTE - Air defence system.
