May 12 (DM) Former Karuna associate Pillayan yesterday vowed to continue his fight against the LTTE while ruling out reconciliation with Karuna Amman from whose faction he broke away recently following a bitter feud. ?We will continue to fight against the Prabhakaran-led Wanni cadres but we will definitely not patch up with Karuna Amman,? a spokesman for the Pillayan group told the Daily Mirror. more.. |

This shows that the SLA military brass is supporting Pillaiyan than Karuna. GoSL wants Karuna for his image! Can they go along? It's a matter of time before these two idiots are put to sword either by LTTE or SLA for different reasons. |

UN condemns LTTE KARUNA and THE GVT, all in one about child soldiers!!
Hindu, May 12. United Nations, May 12 (PTI): Concerned over increased recruitment of children in conflict situations, a UN group has demanded an immediate demobilising of all child soldiers in Sri Lanka and Nepal.
In messages addressed to the Sri Lanka's Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam as well as the Karuna faction which split from LTTE and supports the government troops now - the United Nations Security Council Working Group on Children and Armed Conflict called for the cessation of child recruitment. The Group also sought respect for safe zones for children and guarantees of humanitarian access to all areas. |

Hi guys just leave discussing about this killed pain Karuna a myth (now left without pillaiyan running for his own life and GOSL Muslim ministers running after him and pillaiyan to make some millions from GOSL) in Lankan tamils books.....only a powerful guy in GOSL Story Books - that is Colombo sinhala / english media.....just like Mahawamsam for sinhalalyas history for Tamils a myth......hah hah haaaaaaaa

GoSL tried in vain for 30 odd years to defeat the LTTE on their own. Now they rely on Karuna / Pillaiyan / Iniyabarathi / India or even Angilican Bishop. Sad, no? |

You missed 'Jeyawewa '
Now it has changed to 'Awamangalamwewa' (Mayaanakaandam or maranam thukkam therivippu in tamil) to GOSL, JVP, JHU and mahinda gang...which is more appropriate to these guys

To me this is nothing new. Even if Pirapa has more disputes among his rank that wouldn't be surprised after all politics is all about power and money.
When thats missing people just muck around to defeat their own groups.

India had to change direction and attempted to portrait LTTE as a bigger threat to India.
India's pride was hurt when it was forced to accept third generation descendants of Indian origin was expelled under the Sastri-Srimavo Agreement. Moreover it was badly hurt wnen the great PM of theirs Indra Gandhi was shot by her Sigh-bodyguard.
How can LTTE be a threat when SL extremuists claim it can be contained and defeated? Are you claimining Sri Lanka is more powerful thatn India? |
