What did the LTTE achieve by blowing up Rajiv Ghandhi and attacking the IPKF? Thats the question on the minds of the Indians. With this experience with the LTTE, Indians would not want to take any chances with their prized nuclear plants.

What did the LTTE achieve? India dose not dare do the same mistakes it did before.
India will not demand anything from LTTE like it dose to GoSL.
GoSL is obliges to India in so many ways it is not in any position to say NO to India , no matter what.
LTTE never has that problem.
Indiand can fly into SL at any time but without LTTE permission no Indian will dare to fly into LTTE areas.

Do not talk on behalf of India or say what Indis thinks. I do not think you have the athority to do so.

Just wait and see until these Takaran will catch fire and melt.

Is that what you dream of every night? Tell us when will this happen? or is it all your dreams.

How long have we to wait to see this? or is it going to happen only in your dream?

Wake up man. The rest of the world is laughing at the SLDF for not being able to crush and distroy the Tamils for 30 years . You can't even reclaim the lands they lost but they surely can talk like they are in control.

The SLG is always desperately trying to raise the boogy of LTTE's threat to India. If 40% of the country's nuclear power is going to come from Tamilnadu, do you think that India would have forgotten the security aspect of these power plants? The LTTE's threat will be the least of India's security concerns. These facilities are secured against a lot more than any small plane can damage. There is no reason for India to trust the SLG more than it distrusts the LTTE.

Reading the article is clearly tells one thing.
GoSL is not capable of handleing its own security . It is hoping India will increase their security so that the increased presence would some how keep LTTE at bay.

How the pray LTTE would tangle with India and as a result India would attack and distroy the LTTE.

Didn't Bala admit blowing up Rajiv Ghandhi was a 'monumental blunder'? Like the gunmen of the wild west, LTTE knows best to shoot first and regret later. Having suffered twice at the hands of the LTTE, can the Indians take any more chances again?

Unlike the GOSL under CBK and Ranil who knew about the LTTE trying to acquire air power but did nothing to counter it, the Indians know better to take the LTTE threat seriously. The LTTE was lucky twice with India and the Indians don't want the LTTE to be lucky a third time. They are taking all precautions and, if there is a third time, Indians will be ready for the LTTE.

This is a logical answer. I agree with you 100%.

I do not think so. The truth must be told is there is to be any kind of compramise.
LTTE admits to things it did and try to go foward. GoSL will never admit to anything even if all the evidance is against it. It will even try to put the blame on others if it can.

India can trust GOSL 100% NOT to attack India but LTTE has given India practical lessons on how a highly respected Indian son can be blown up in Indian soil and how her jawans who were sent to SL to protect Tamils can be killed and maimed and forced to leave SL in ignominy.

As far as India is concerned, it is a simple choice between GOSL and LTTE, whom to trust and whom not to. No body need tell them that.
