Vini,
Good to see you back after some time, how's life buddy? What I heard from some of my pilot friends is not in favor of LTTE supporters.
Don't hurt Revy that much saying that he doesn't have a country:)

7 soldiers killed & 31 injured in Madu clash

(LeN-2007 May 07, 8.15pm) 07 soldiers have been killed and another 31 have been injured as the fourth attempt made by the security forces to gain the territory in the Madu area was foiled yesterday.

The injured are being treated at the Colombo and Anuradhapura national hospitals and five bodies of the dead soldiers were handed over to the ICRC this afternoon. This was confirmed to us by the ICRC spokesperson.

The casualties were confirmed to us by the military spokesperson brigadier Prasad Samarasinghe at a media briefing held this morning.

On the 25th the security forces first attempted to break through the defense lines on the 25th of April and lost 13 soldiers in the battle while 60 suffered injuries. The army also attempted to break into the area twice before and lost 30 soldier in confrontation.

Soldiers say yesterday they had to counter a massive mortar attack which made it difficult for the troops even to carry their fellow injured men. Sources from the Security forces say the order to clear the area has come from Colombo before the 15th of august as the Madu season starts on that date.

Well seems the fake state is going to have a gas crunch for a little while, good thing you got people like vini and ShamB to produce all the methane you need as an alternative ;)

The LTTE's air raid on the Muthurajawela (Kerawalapitiya) LPG storage facility of Shell Gas on April 29, had led to the facility's closure, though it was said after the raid that the damage was negligible.

Shell's spokesperson said in Colombo on Monday, that the fire fighting system of the plant was damaged and that in the absence of such a system the storage facility had to be shut down.

Efforts were being made to get LPG from overseas and a ship had indeed arrived at the Colombo port. But unloading was being delayed as the port had suspended operations in the night following the LTTE's nocturnal air raid on April 29.

Another LPG company, Laughfs, was helping out with supplies and also unloading so that the consumers did not suffer.

Meanwhile efforts were on to gets a fire fighting system from abroad. 'Within a week, normalcy would be restored,' the spokesperson told Hindustan Times.

Vini,
Have you read last week's situation report by Iqbal Athas? He said that our forces are planning to get Spike guided missile systems, and they seem to be relatively cheap than the other systems.
LTTE's so called sea going wing surely will have a hell of a time in future battles.
looks like Revy has to work more than 24 hours a day in near future to support his dream land:)

What sri lanka has to do is rent just five fighter jets from the US with US pilots and wipe out killinochchi.......too bad people get killed.....which one is better killing 1000 people at once and get over with it or keep this fake struggle going for years and killing 10000 innocent people on both sides?

not sure about renting them from US.. but the rest of the plan sounds good to me

Body-count hardly is a measurement of success / failure...

Of course not old dog, when its not your body or someone you care for...

As for humiliated, think you will find Sri Lanka right next to that word in the dictionary...

Tin cans have shut down your airport, port and fuel storage facilities
Toilet paper rupee at life time low
Tourists gone with the wind from TAF propellers
Britain asking you to stick to the CFA, and inviting TC to parliament LOL
US coming to give you a good lecture
World renowned human rights violators and war criminals

What more do you want under the heading of Humiliation? LOL
