BT,
What would happen should LTTE strike during the afternoon? a total closure of the airport?
I am thinking of flying to Lanka sometimes later this summer, would I get cheaper prices, I wouldn't mind :))

Man, I have long way to go Niwan sepa machang. I don't think Karuna can attend that easily. Perhaps he's lost in between.
For me machang, terrorist is a terrorist whether its Karuna or Pirapa. I don't believe in terrorism, we need to talk and settle machang or else only innocent people get affected. After all I don't believe in separate state ideology and I don't think that will ever materialiase so long as India are concerned about keeping the TN as a United India.

Is international airport closed in any other countries in the night? Most of the airlines prefer night time landing due to low landing tax.
After this night time closure, will tourists or foreign investors prefer to land KIA? Now GOSL invites the closure of more places in the south. |

As far as I know, No any other country has taken this level of decision except in a very very critical situation. And except for few hours or a day or two.
Also, this is a SHAMED decision taken by leaders.
This shows the incapability of MR & Gang in ruling a country. These idiots do not know what to do and what not to do.
LTTe is far ahead than these foolish leaders.

Seri Lanka 05/07 - The Sri Lankan government has said that a 2002 ceasefire agreed with the Tamil Tigers should be re-examined and may need to be scrapped all together.
Defence spokesman Keheliya Rambukwella said that the agreement has been violated 'over and over again'.
