This may not come as a surprise, especially since UK putting up a show for the peace process. Over all impact of such a move to the conflict will not be visible. Simply, this will not have an impact of the ethnic conflict and UK just wants to make a point. Besides UK has a terrorism problem too. Sadly if a move like this is taken by the UK or any other country its the average tamil and sinhala joe that will pay the price. And not Velupillai Prabhakaran or Mahinda. The average man. So there is nothing for the pathetic Tamil disapora to get excited. After all they do care for their fellow tamils in Sri Lanka? This is what I would like to called just another International BS!!

Now German and US, france have to follow UK ,
tamils have to work hard, Good time to move fwd bcz of the proposal not been accepted by any one and its been a waste and nothing in it. There is nothing to prove now about the GOV and former govs to bring a right solutions to tamils. THIS foolish propsoal proves them all.
If they stop tamils funding to tigers, then they have to stop funding the GOSL too.If tigers are terrorist, then GOSL is the worst terrorist.
Good lesson to Keliya-rum puka wella, and Goat-ta ,about what they said few weeks ago to British hig com to be silent or we will chase you out.

What need is a leader with qualities of leadership.Let it be from any religion.He/she has to think of all the fellow SLs' and leave religion out of politics.These two don't go the same way and don't see eye to eye.Two bulls got to pull the cart in one direction.Bring back all three languages as First language and have a second language for one of the three.
If we are to mix with the International community, at
least we should be able to speak in English properly!

Hope the lawyers are working well in Australia to prove all the funds been used to help the tamils,
I heard that, they have got some good supporting meterilas to prove and all aduit been done by good reputed accounts in aus.
They should talk about the funds given by AUSAID to GOSL and most been used to by arms ,also how Galle and hambantota been developed , but in north east very less. And now gov chasing the INGO's out of the country.

The Supreme Court has ruled that President Chandrika Kumaratunge had acted against the presidential privileges act in exercising her pension rights.
The Supreme Court hearing a petition filed by three lawyers decided that president Kumaratunge had misused her powers and acted illegally

when UNP comes to power they will take mahinda to courts
