VISMITHA,

Federal system like in India will not allow Tamils in the north and northeast to have their own fighters planes. federal system like in canada or in India will be within the soverignty of Sri lanka.

I would like to tell you that India and the United States will not accept any such fighter planes or separate nation under the soverignty of sri lanka and India will not allow Tamils to have all these facilities.

But if you deny giving them this federal system you have to accept this unaboidable partition like in East Trimor.
I hope that you will understand.

However, if tigers air raids continue the airport will be closed down not only for 72 hours but difnitely. You will see it very soon.

However, I would like to point out that tamils will not be allowed to have all these weapons once they have their own administration except foreign and defense affaires within the soverignty of sri Lanka.

Under fedeal system even sinhalese living in the north can participate .

If you all insist on military victory on Tamils (Tigers)
you will see the result .

No Kfir or MiG was shot

It was only yesterday that pro LTTE media and Eelamists celebrated the shooting down of a SLAF supersonic jet bomber. However, DefenceNet can confirm that no fighter aircraft of SALF were neither lost nor damaged due to enemy fire or due to technical failure.

However at attempt to shoot down the jet was made by LTTE gunners. We cannot confirm the type of AA weapons used but the pilot was able to out maneuver the 'foreign object' and LTTE did not acquire their target.

Isn't it a bit odd how this guy talking about a 'foreign object'? it doesn't sound like h's talking about AAA shells!

The greatest danger we Tamils face is, ourselves. At least in Sri Lanka we
seem to be heading to be a depleted community of uneducated coolies.
And we in the West will, blind to reality, sing of what a great people we are!

so says Prof Hoole VC of University of Jaffna (in excile!!)

Cheers

Today the Tamil situation is propped up by the standardization policy that
we opposed so vehemently. In the G.C.E. A/Level results of 2005, out of
the first 165 students from the much sought after medical/bioscience
stream, there are only 5 Tamils!

the REAL situation in Sri Lanka!!

what Prof Hoole forgot to mention was, more than 20 students among that 165 top achievers were MUSLIMS!

Tamil graduates are largely agricultural. Tamil MPs too, with the exception
after LTTE began nominating Tamil MPs, were from the agricultural caste.
In Jaffna, Bishops need to be from agricultural Caste. Till recently
Christian priests too. Thus learning and status and caste all went together.

There is one good thing about the war ? as the Vellahlas flee, more of the
others are filling the vacuum on the Tamil side ? so we have lower caste
graduates, lower caste priests etc. The Vellahlas I suspect are the
leadership as always in Toronto and London shouting for Eelam.

now who are the Vellahla LNM members in this forum??

you take one if you fancy..we do not demand that from MR..we demand that he should destroy all TAMIL terrorists!!

now to Killinochi with the Amassadors of India and United States
( for his security ) to meet Mr.Prabhakaran

who is this Mr Prabakaran... the guy who killed Indian prime minister???? I am sure Indian ambassador will like to have a chat with that chap.

we can not afford to have very expensive life.
people are suffering.

I agree with you there..N and E Tamils are suffering... no food, no medicine, no school for their kids..
but that is not OUR problem.. go and tell your thalaivar Goat.

If this airport is closed down or destroyed completly by Tigers

May 1 (Hindu) Sri Lanka Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama told diplomats here on Monday that the Government was fully capable of meeting any challenge from the LTTE, including threats by its nascent air wing, and called for collective global action to meet the global menace. Mr. Bogollagama was briefing the envoys in the wake of the third aerial attack by the Tigers on Sunday and joint endeavour by New Delhi and Colombo to bolster Colombo's air defence system. more..

May 1 (BN) Sri Lanka dismissed the LTTE's new air wing as having only 'trivial tactical value,' and denied rebel anti-aircraft units shot down a military plane in the north of the country. 'The LTTE is striving hard to rebuild its lost image through its 'air raid novelty' the Defense Ministry said on its Web site yesterday. 'The LTTE, along with its pro-terror media network has been engaged in a major psychological operation to inflate the outfit's military power.' more..

May 1 (HT) The LTTE air attack on oil storage facilities near Colombo is yet another confirmation that the organisation is one of the most resourceful and innovative guerrilla outfits in the world. Above all, the Tamil Tigers are masters of psychological operations (psy-ops) and timing. Their strike is militarily insignificant, but it has huge propaganda value. It is also a show of strength aimed at attracting funds from the expatriate Tamil community. more..
