Dear Dudes,
Where does this news item come from? Obviously, LTTE Takaran crafts have not bombed three millitary installations, only one is millitary, rest is commercial, including one site owned by a multi-national, Shell.
If ever a Kfir is down, who would celebtrate it? Not only the tigers who shot it down, but also the people who purchase weapons for the air force. They will be delighted. Some are totally blinded by the mythical belief of tactics,fast air crafts etc. The Takaran force will not be destroyed until our good officers aquire new equipment, technology and whatever that brings commissions. Till then Prabakaran can go on sending his Takarans to Colombo on black market fuel, loosing money and patience as he did last weekend.
If at all, the Takaran forces is totally destroyed, submarines will come to the picture. Then our good officers in Navy will benefit from the purchases. The life will go on like that.

What are you talking about? whom you are going to roast?
I think he wants to learn how to roast marshmellows around the camp fire, cause that's the only light they are going to be getting every time TAF pays a vist to colombo... |

Now certain people talk about LTTE air power.
May I ask what air power?
They have two aircrafts driven by motorcycle motors, and only capable of dropping small bombs.
This is more of an irritation than of danger. They don't have Kafirs or Migs, which are state of the art machines built to destroy.
SLAF will destroy those light crafts and its just a matter of time.
But the interesting thing is, now bombs are exploding in Killinochchi killing LTTE leaders. LTTE is entangled in a maze of issues and two light air crafts will not provide solutions to those.

| In Colombo, people are used these threats. So there is hardly any worries around here. But people are hopeful that they will soon see the funural of Piribaharan (and his terror gang) soon enough. |

The tigers air raids may be a joke for some sinhalese uneducated political leaders but economically it is not a joke but it is a biggest lost for country's foreign income . .
Every little or big air raids of Tigers will not bring any good image of this Island.
Country has to buy very expensive materials to save the one and only international airport and it is impossible to accept that major foreign airlines companies' decision to cancell their flights to Colombo.
Unless sinhalese at least now come forward to accept the Indian modele of federal system for tamils to lookafter their own administration except foreign affairs,the situation will be more and more worse in the coming years.
How long the authorities can cut the power in Colombo and put the one millions people without electricity on each and every tigers air raid????
How long the authorities can close the Air port for three or five hours on each air raid of Tigers?
Now it is the turn of sinhalese people in the south to suffer like Tamils who have been suffering in the hands of al three arm forces.
Fals or true information on Downing of Kfir or any air craft may be a joke for the defense ministry of rulers of this country but it is not a joke for the foreign commercial flights and foreign travellers.
If this tigers air raids continue the time will come to close down the airport definitively without any prior notice and that is the begining of fall of this sinhalese government and may be an unavoidable partitiion of this Island under UN order. |

I cannot disagree with your comment as Sri Lanka is one of the countries which had a Moron as a Prime Minister who stupidly signed every demand the LTTE and the Norwegian Collaborators layed out in a bogus CFA, in anticipation that he could become the President of Sri Lanka with a temporary boost in economy from a CFA, where no permanent solution for the ethnic conflict was possible within democratic politics, which LTTE had no intentions to comply with or has any respect to the concepts of Democracy. |

If all sri lankans belive that US, arrested men in buying Missiles to tigers, Then all have to belive tigers have anti air craft missiles!!
Anyway the tigers attacked the engineering building at katu, thats means the fighters jets now dont have a proper service before they take off.
