I think it's OK to do what ever while he was training but did Gilchrist used this squash ball inside the glove when he was playing the WC final?

http://www.cnn.com/2007/SPORT/04/29/cricket.gilchrist.reut/index.html
'I decided I will use that in this World Cup in a match but hadn't.'

http://msn.foxsports.com/cricket/story/6750260
''I decided in this World Cup that I would use it in a match,' Gilchrist said.'

but if he didn't use it then why would he do the gesture?

''I also had a little message, to wave to someone at home in Australia about something in my glove,' he said.'

'make sure when you score a hundred in the final you show me and prove to me you got it in there'.'

so if it wasn't in his glove why would he show the glove?

It seems Australians are very inventive in cricket:

Denis Lilee et al - How to use an Aluminum bat to score consecutive half centuries

Darrel Hair et al- how to neutralize Asian players forever!

Darren Lehman - How to put the pressure on opposition based on their race !

Shane warne et al- Do really steroids help to spin?

Ricky Ponting et. al- Investigation of carbon fibers/stripes to transfer energy from bat to ball

Adam Gilchrist - Application of Squash balls in cricket (thesis under review.)

Was it Aussies or Proteas used FM earphones or something like that when fielding to get instructions from the coach?

Same here bro. 2011, we'll get em! :[

[Have a date tomorrow with prefecture's medical watchdog, won't be a nice one.]

Don't worry bro. I'm sure you'll be fine.

By the way, are they celebrating Vesak in Japan now or during another time of year?

1010,

It was South African captain Hansi Cronje who wore an ear-piece to talk with his coach.

Those bats are still available here. I think they're banned only in international cricket so it's fine for school, club and state players to use them. Damn beauties too! Wish I could get my hands on one.

Imperator,

Those bats convert simple catches to mid-on to sixers :)

Similar materials are used to make golf clubs, Damn expensive, but if you can you them, you can hit extra 30-40 meters away.

Banker!

are they celebrating Vesak in Japan now or during another time of year?

I never saw they celebrate Wesak for seven years, but they have cultural blended different Buddhist celebrations, very nice, more like Wesak in August,

Chicks go damn crazy, Lol. One can see Kimono sweeties all over the Japan in these days, really nice.

:-)
