I can not understand the psychology of people who are seeking some self-gratification over killing members of other race no matter they are innocent civilians or soldiers or terrorists or fighters.

I had lot of pets : Bunnies, squirrels, tortoise, owls, dogs. But now I do have any. Sometimes just feed animal in wild. Slowly giving up all mundane things and walking into retirement :) |

nirupa, If VP wants seperation ....OK fine!! All tamils living in south i.e what's that word sinhala dominated areas going to leave the sinhala dominated areas? If tamils given a seperate state then sinhalese should be given one for themselves too...it means no tamils. And muslims can have one for themselves in the east. Is that what VP wants? |

in the ltte territory kfir goes down claiming it was shot down. theres a comment on the forum that the pilot found from the crash site is an israeli.
If only a foriegn pilot is captured by the LTTE, then all in the war front cahnge. |

We will have to accept the reality without causig another migration and bloodbath as it happened in India split into Pakistan. In 1946 Batticaloa comprised of just 5.8% Sinhalese and the whole of East only 6% but swelled to 32% now. So it's a matter of time that population ratio changes.
If no genuine solution is agreed by the South and if Separation become inevitable N-E will become a Tamil-speaking Province with Canton style enclaves for Muslims and Sinhalese in the East as recommended in the Majority Report of the APC. If Tamils in Colombo is prepared with Sinhala Only or some arrangement they can carry on.
You seem to imply that one community has a god-given right to dominate and rule others. If so things become difficult to both the rulers and the subjects.
