Haha GoSl proposals are almost out, good news Sri Lankans now you have a choice for toilet paper, you can use your currency or print out this drivel and use it instead...

COLOMBO (Reuters) - Sri Lanka's ruling party unveiled devolution proposals on Monday aimed at ending a two-decade civil war, but analysts said they fell far short of minority ethnic Tamil demands and were doomed to fail.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa's ruling Sri Lanka Freedom Party wants to devolve power at district rather than a higher level and insists on rebel disarmament, according to the text seen by Reuters.

'This is going to be a total disaster,' said Rohan Edrisinha of independent think-tank the Centre for Policy Alternatives.

'Psychologically this is going to be a huge blow to the peace process, because it would suggest that the SLFP is going back to the early 1980s if not 1970s.'

'The SLFP is offering less than what is already in place in the form of the 13th amendment to the constitution (which set up provincial governments),' he added. 'Viewed from the point of view of conflict resolution, it's really quite astounding.'


This could be one more reason for the LTTE to start using their SAMS finally. Now they can gleefuly point out to the IC that the so called proposals are a complete sham and as noted in VP's speech there is no alternative but independence, as Sri Lanka will never provide a just political solution.

Huummmm, 3 attacks in a month by Tigers air force... What is this SLAF doing? Didn't they train well enough for fight or trained to get monthly salary? Where is this Mahinda maamaa gone? Magé ammééé!

Govt was warned not to bomb Vanni

ThamilChelvan warned the Govt repeatedly that unless it stopped bombing Tamil areas LTTE would be forced to retaliate. The president and his brother are always late to wake up to reality.

Whn approached the airfield of the Tamileelam Air Force (TAF) in Ira'naimadu


So Mr. Irasiah Ilanthirayan trying to tell the world the location of their made up 'TAF' F-22 Raptors are.

No one in the world take it as serious warning. SLAF do what they want . Keep on bombing! Eliminate terrorism ! MR govermant is ready for any warning.

LTTE is not that 'Modaiya' when giving news to the media.They knew after this attack SLAF will avoid Ira'naimadu and aim another city.
