Why Jaffna?? have LTTE given up the east???

New map of EELAM to be released by LTTE with North, East and Central province very soon........please wait for some more time as the boundaries marking yet to be completed by tamil eelam lands deparment
GOSL guys are getting hammered or baked by LTTE... inside army vehicles in which they travel in east every day....sin aney.......Now East is under control of Tamils with minimum losses to LTTE and maximum losses to army every day

Where did it go down??.....in to the sea or Tiger controled area??......correct me if I am wrong....see is not that close to Iranaimadu tank..is it???....if so how did they see its going in to the sea??
ML read Dishan's first post quoting Mig29c, says that fast jets would cover 5.2 KM in 14 seconds, so what is the distance from Iranmadu to the sea? I think there is enough time for a jet to be hit and still travelling fast enough to end up in the sea.
Unlike in some movies SAMS don't always outright blow the plane into little bits, could have damaged an engine enough that it crashed, but it still had power to go, and possibly enough time for the pilot to bail out.
All I can say is time will tell, and GoSL actions following this incident, lets see if they slow down on air raids now, might tell you something.. or not... |

AS usual LTTE is lying again. Read this then you will know.
VAVUNIA: Tamil tigers had dreamt of a Sri Lankan Air Force Kfir jet being shot over Iranamadu in which they had viewed an Israel built attack air craft crashing with a large cloud of smoke being spewed between 2:45 and 3:00 p.m today (30). A pro ?tiger website was too quick to carry the details of the dream with information added to say that a Kfir aircraft as had not returned to the base quoting unconfirmed reports from Colombo.
When inquired from the Air Force of any Air craft not returning to the base during the day it was confirmed by senior Air Force officials that all Aircraft of the Sri Lanka Air Force have entered the bases and hangers by evening today subsequent to their routine reconnaissance and other strike missions over the tiger held areas.
The pro-tiger web site reporting the dream proved how poor is it in reporting when it went a step further to get the so called military officials of the tigers involved as them having told that the tigers? of anti-aircraft defence system automatically activated when an intrusive aircraft was detected in Iranamadu area.
This is yet another clear example of the attempts by the tigers to cover up their pains of severe defeats suffered in the East of the island by fabricating and disseminating false propaganda around and to show that they possess an anti air defensive capability which in reality is otherwise.
The Sri Lanka Air Force fighter jets have been causing extensive damages to the tiger terrorist organization during the recent past. Their contribution to the Governments efforts to rescue the besieged civilians from the clutches of the tigers in the East was a severe blow at the tigers.
The pains of losses in the East were heightened when the tiger efforts to use their last resort in desperation, a light air craft to drop locally made bombs to cause damages to the national security were in total failure. All these four occasions ended in total failure with near destruction to the tiger craft. Tigers so far had employed their fullest strength in which the employment of air craft being the last and the most to weaken the Security Forces of the State.
It could be assessed that tigers are now resorting to some preposterous measures to satisfy themselves when nothing is effective against the Security Forces.
Tigers in a previous occasion attempted to damage the State?s attack craft at Katunayake and ended in a total failure.
It will not be long before the tigers fall in to the laughing stock.
