Paharo:

You can start selling Egyptian mummies from UK.

When are you going to convert to a Sinhala.

Then you don't have to suffer like this.

Chennai, April 21: PMK, a constituent of the UPA, today sought an assurance from the Centre that it would not provide military equipment to the Sri Lankan government which was carrying out a 'genocide' against Tamils in the island.

'No military assistance of any kind should be given to the Sri Lankan government which is refusing to talk with Tamils and carrying out brutal military attacks on them', PMK founder S Ramadoss said in a statement here, adding 'the Centre should not ignore the sentiments and demands of Tamils.' Despite pleas from the UN and leaders like the Pope to stop the military attacks and initiate dialogue to end the ethnic crisis, the Sri Lankan government was continuing its attacks against Tamils, he said in a statement.

Reports of India supplying arms to the island government had shocked the Tamil community in the world, he said adding this would only encourage the genocidal war and make Sri Lankan Tamils refugees.

Providing weapons to Sri Lanka would be considered as an anti-Tamil act by all Tamils,he said. Urging Chief Minister M Karunanidhi to request the Centre to protect the Tamils, Ramadoss said it was time that leaders in Tamil Nadu ended their silence.

'If people and leaders in Tamil Nadu failed to act, Tamil brethern in Sri Lanka will be annihilated. It will be of no use to hold condolence meetings later', he added. (Our Correspondent)

Tamils accuse SLA for things they never knew. Because, unlike in developed countries, in developed and civilized countries people are still very innocent.

In 1998, a pair of sources in the Tamil Community told one of the authors about 'Camilla', a madam for a Tamil hooker ring in Toronto. The story was that most of the clientele were Tamils, but the thinking about Camilla?s organization was that a man who could afford a few hundred bucks for an hour or two of pleasure could also then be fingered as someone who could afford to increase his donations to the Tigers? cause. The story was impossible to confirm for several reasons, but Camilla does still advertise in the ?Adult Personal? section of Now Magazine.

One additional datum about prostitution and the Tigers arises out of people smuggling activities (another key industry for the LTTE). In the mid 1990s, it was not unknown for some Sri Lankan women to be abused or raped while being smuggled towards Canada, and some were deliberately stranded in Thailand and forced into prostitution there. In all fairness, the risks of this happening to Tamil women are much lower than they are for women being handled by human traffickers from Eastern Europe and the Far East.

Only LTTE exposed tamil women to that kind of activities.

EVERY THING IS part of the NATIONAL PROBLEM.

That stays until LTTE is got rid off.

Abuse and forced prostitution of Tamil women

Another industry the LTTE has been implicated in is the forced prostitution of Tamil women who are being smuggled to other countries. In the mid 1990s some Sri Lankan women were abused or raped while being smuggled towards Canada by the LTTE, and some were deliberately stranded in Thailand and forced into prostitution there.
