| | Lanka Refuse To Play By Rules. ( Srilanka Deny Visa For Humanright organsation. it was denied because they asked srilankan government to play by rule.) Tuesday, 17 April 2007 - 7:45 PM SL Time | | | Angry Lanka delays visas for Amnesty
Angry with the London-based Amnesty International (AI) for organising a campaign against Sri Lanka during the on-going World Cup cricket tournament in the West Indies, the Sri Lankan government is delaying the grant of visas to an Amnesty team wanting to visit the island.
A top official of the Sri Lankan Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Hindustan Times here on Tuesday, that government had not decided to deny visas, but Amnesty had been told that this was not the appropriate time to visit the country.
Amnesty had asked people watching matches in which Sri Lanka was playing, to sign white balls carrying the legend `Play by the rules` (ie: `Don`t violate human rights`).
In a pamphlet distributed simultaneously, it also asked both parties to accept an International Human Rights Monitor.
as Usual JVP website said AI are LTTE . and it went on to say AI appologise.
Any right thinking people should support AI campaign all it asking for play by rule.
and it had blamed LTTE as violating Human right and LTTE had welcomed AI campaign and they promissed to work with AI to hunt any human right violation within the organisation.
srilankan government refused to play by rule. and srilankan government had killed 300,000 tamils.
when chandrika was president she refused to let Kofi anna visit Tamils land . they deny every tamils right therefore it is essential that tamil need to have a separate state.
picture as usual they put ( A1 join the list)
AI a LTTE.
UN funded By LTTE
Alan Rock LTTE
Radika Kumarsamy a LTTE
Eric solheim a LTTE
Kofi anna a LTTE
BIll Clinton a LTTE
Tony Blair a LTTE
list continue...

Govt. slams door on AI
Tuesday, 17 April 2007 - 4:02 AM SL Time
In the wake of Amnesty International(AI)'s highly controversial campaign to target human rights abuses in Sri Lanka, the government has turned down a request by the international rights group to visit the country and carry out an assessment.
According to informed government sources the Sri Lankan High Commission in London, on the instructions of the government, rejected applications for visas of two AI officials who had planned to visit the country. |
