Last year raids were conducted by Federal Police and nothing has come out of those raids.

hahah maybe because there was nothing illegal going on eh.

Got to love the fishnet factory in Jaffna, as if the criminal terrorist state allows even essentials through, how is anyone going to be able to start a factory.

Also given that most fishing is now banned there in an effort to starve the Tamil people and make them dependent on the terror state, what would be the point.

PPP,
So you are back after trying to plough.
You modayas are loosing the tourists, loosing the support of the AI and IC.
Your modaya leader is being treated as an out cast in international conferences.
The leaders of other countries are refusing to take photographs with your modaya leader.
Nothing is going right for your pariah state, like your plough.

Hey KFC colonel, if you haven't gone back to the frier, maybe you could enlighten us as to who the so called 'monkeys' are:

Over the last few days Sri Lankan military that has setup camp at the Manalpiddy junction (see map) regularly infiltrated into the Kokkadichcholai town and pilfered the homes of Tamil residents in this township.

All of the Tamil residents of this town were forcefully evicted by the military in middle March by deliberate shelling into their homes. Having evicted the owners the military is unhindered in its pilfering operations. Tamil homes are systematically being emptied of their Television sets, Fridges, furniture and anything else the military fancies. Lorry loads of the pilfered items were seen being transported to the Manalpiddy junction.

This township of Kokkadichcholai is a very ancient Tamil town which was affluent and well developed when the very first Europeans set foot in it more than 500 years ago.

Acting just like any other occupation army, no army would rob from their own people, so this is ample proof why Tamils need to seperate from the terrorist state.

Probably LTTE caders have never seen so many SLA men walking in their back yards. LTTE in the East is so demoralised now that they are going after Sinhalese civilians.

Rebels Prepare a Fight to the End
April 9, 2007: In the east, the army continues finding and destroying military facilities the LTTE has built over the last decade. There are still hundreds of armed, and dangerous, LTTE gunmen in the east, but they are no longer an organized threat. In the north, the LTTE continues to forcibly recruit teenagers. The fighting is getting nastier, as the LTTE increasingly targets civilians (both non-Tamils, and Tamils who oppose the LTTE). There are 50-100 casualties a day, including civilian victims of terrorism or Tamils who oppose the LTTE. It looks like the end for the LTTE. However, the fanatics who form the core of the LTTE are still out there, and apparently determined to fight to the death. That could be ugly, and costly in terms of military and civilian lives.

April 7, 2007: In the north, the LTTE attacked a bus full of civilians, killing seven and wounding 26.

April 4, 2007: The air force found and bombed the headquarters of the LTTE naval forces, in the north. Fuel supplies and buildings were destroyed.

April 3, 2007: The army captured another four LTTE camps in eastern Sri Lanka, killing 23 LTTE gunmen in the process. Now several hundred more LTTE fighters have no place to live, although most of them are probably already dead, or have deserted. The only forces the LTTE have left in that area are scattered in remaining camps. Many senior LTTE leaders have already moved to the remaining LTTE bastion in the north. The LTTE has increased its attacks on non-Tamils in the east, especially Sinhalese (the majority of Sri Lankans).

Govt. open for peace talks with LTTE

If the LTTE is ready to come we are willing to take it and we want it to come. We want to make the LTTE a part of the negotiations and part of a negotiated settlement. It should become stakeholders in that right. At the same time it is important for us to say who the Tigers are as much as they say who we are. We are a sovereign nation and owe a responsibility to the country and to its people. They should take this opportunity to shed terrorism and be part of the negotiated process,? Minister Bogollagama said.

The JVP yesterday blamed the main Opposition UNP for discouraging the Sri Lankan armed forces at a time they engaged in an invaluable service in the Northern District to protect the country's territorial integrity from the LTTE.

JVP Parliamentarian K. D. Lalkantha said that this was clearly seen when the UNP refrained from voting when the Emergency vote was taken up in Parliament on Thursday.

The above new items shows that corrupt mahindaya doesnot have genuine intention to destroy ltte by attackin Wanni.
He is using war as his political propaganda with limited operations. This is a waste of our brave soldiers lives. That is why UNP doesnt support ongoing military operations done by mahinda to win elections.
UNP wants to save our soldiers valuble lives from Rajapakse brothers who started war to earn commissions from military procuments & to gain political propaganda.
corrupt mahinda cant fool the UNP as he fooled jvp/jhu & ltte.

Suppose NATO forces came to SL & they are engaged in destroying ltte, their would be lot of corrupt parties like JVP/JHU who would insist that NATO must be expelled or there would be corrupt politicians like CBK,SIRIMA,MAHINDA who would make anti NATO propaganda to win elections by betraying lives of our Sri Lankan forces. There would be some idiots in this forum who would be suporting their actions.
It is because of corrupt opportunistic policians & political parties & idiots who support them, SL failed to achieve peace or we lost golden opportunities to destroy ltte.
In 1987 we failed indo lanka peace accord & help to chase out IPKF.

We must investigate why JVP had a tamil secret leader. We know jvp has helped ltte in difficult situation. When they were struggling with IPKF,it is JVP who helped them. When ltte was submerged in 2002 CFA ,it is JVP who helped them to get away from the CFA.This tamil leader must have ltte connection. Why did he flee the country , when GOSL started to investigate about him.He should have stayed in SL , & face the investigations carried out by the president whom they elected.
