Vinayagam,

FP was ounded by Samuel James Velupillai Chelvanaygam who are riginaly from England not converted to christianity!

About Thandai Chelva....
He was born in Malaysia on 31st March 1898, one century and six years ago. He received his secondary education at the Union College, Tellippalai and later became a student at St. Thomas College, which was at that time situated at Modera. He was a contemporary of S. W. R. D. Bandaranaike.

At the age of nineteen, he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. Soon after his graduation, he became a teacher at St. Thomas' College, which was by then shifted to Mount Lavinia. Later he moved to Wesley College and pursued his studies in law at Law College. He became an advocate in 1923 and the dignity of silk was conferred on him in 1947.

In 1927, he married Emily Grace Barr Kumarakulassinghe. At his wedding day, he wore 'verti' and 'Salvai', the Tamil national dress in lieu of the Western attire, which was the prerequisite customary dress among the elite Tamils of the day. He was a Tamil nationalist to the core. Chelvanayakam once went to the classroom at Wesley College in Tamil national dress.

There are some good points on your page about arguments!!

I am glad you saw it.

Take a deeeep breath!! another one!! and another one!

I guess your hypnotist for stress management taught you this.

Finally dont issue false threats!! if you cant meterialise it!!

I for one never threat anybody, but I like to show facts as they are, especially when unable people like you around.

What Pope says is a fuzz for you!

Damn right. Finally you got it

Do you get it or dont want to get it!! I would argue with you because I think its worth making these points!

You are welcome to walk out with defeat if you want to.

Don't come with your religious crap to preach me, for me this pope dude is one of the nastiest in the modern day, and I feel horrible for you when you blindly protects his 'top' agendas, remember church is the biggest sinner.

Is Kumarakulasinghe a Tamil or a Sinahala.

Because SWRD also wore western attire. Once he came to Sri Lanka he became a sinhala nationalist. But, his genenration name is NEEla perumal

An ad hoc body was formed to make representations to the Soulbury Commission on the demand of fifty fifty - a demand for balanced representation for the minorities within the unitary character of the Constitution. The ad hoc committee was transformed into Tamil Congress in 1944 just before the arrival of the Soulbury Commission. G. G. Ponnambalam became its President while Dr. Naganathan was its Secretary.

Chelvanayakam became its Deputy Leader.

Whether we like it or not pope is respected by millions people world over. This is no time to blame pope, Christians, Catholics and so on. We are against a blood thirsty terrorists who bomb civilian buses. Diplomatic moves should be launched to educate pope and the christian world.

do you know MP Kajendrakumar never been to jaffna before he cotested election in jaffna. still he doesnt know anything about Jaffna. exactly like that!

I think GOSL should explain these things to Tamil civilians in the country.

There should be some cultural revolution in the country. GOSL can distribute leaf lets and small booklets.

Because, at present everybody is disillusioned.

I detect a big anti church feeling in you!! Can you please elaborate why you have this anti christian or church feeling?

Are you one of those sinhalese who burnt churches because they feel their budhism is going to be crushed by these christians?
