A mad dog, threat to journalists
Sunday, 8 April 2007 - 7:01 AM SL Time

Minister of Health and Nutrition Nimal Siripala de Silva has warned journalist that `they should be vaccinated with something like rabbis`.

He has made the above statement while addressing a ceremony in Colombo organized to mark the International Health day that falls tomorrow.

According to the journalists who were present there the minister had spoken with much aggression and had meant that the journalists in the country are mad like those dogs diseased with rabbis.

He had said that there are several media personnel who are waiting until diseases like Bird Flu enter the island and that he wouldn`t let them take advantage of any such situation of that sort.

He said `there are some media personnel some with grown beards who don`t know what they are doing. They try to create pandemonium in the entire state. Though we rare certain animals we need to vaccinate them. We let them enjoy the freedom. Event the media has that freedom. But if they start biting everyone like the mad dogs do then we have to take measures. Therefore like we vaccinate those dog, the time has come to vaccinate media personnel`.

Siripala!
People have not elected you to have a go at our free press and they should be allowed to report on anything without bias on any topic, they wish. Why should you get worked up? The only remedy for you is to take a stiff whisky, you like so much and get to bed.Don't strangle our free press and if you don't like the heat, just get out of the kitchen and do us that favour. We need more news media that will stand up to the wrong doings in the country and to strangle that freedom is to strangle the democracy of the nation. What a thing to say at an international event?

Minister please do us a favour, first vaccinate your cabinet colleagues against taking bribes, corruption, telling lies and cheating the poor, if you could do that asap God will be pleased with you and your colleagues.

Politically Mad individuals like Nimal Siripala and the other 224 equally mad individuals who bark at each other in Parliament bark nonsensically like in this instance because they suffer from chronic Political Rabies.

It's the voters in the country who have the medicine for Political Rabies but unfortunately as the majority of voters suffer from Dementia they forget how to use the medicine, specially during election time as that is the time the medicine for Political Rabies has it's full potential!!

When I see people who post comments such as the one above, I see a very bleak future for our island nation.

Firstly If anyone is condoning Nimal Siripala's comments here they clearly have some issues as its very clear from the comments he has made here that he's the one with Rabbis or some other mental sickness. If people are ignorant enough to turn a blind eye to the idiotic comments made by a good for nothing idiot like Nimal Siripala here and then bash the journalist who risk their lives to bring us closer to the truth about everything which goes on in our country, we have no hope for a good future as with such mentalities we would never be able to get ourselves out of the current situation we are in.

I recommend that Mahinda,Nimal & VP must be vaccinated to save Sri Lanka.Mahinda is trying to silence the journalists by intimidating them. But our journalists are brave healthy watch dogs. They will chase out corrupt mad dogs like mahinda & vp.When people get too cravings for power they become mad.Their mad rabbis in their brians will make them to perish.People who want to solve NE problem by war, or leaders who want war to be continued, are unhealthy mad dogs. They are badly infected with rabbis.People who believe in peace, love & harmony are healthy dogs.Mahinda & vp are mad dogs.they will bite sri lanka & make it infected with carnage, corruption, violence ,blood shed, inflation, high COL & refugees,.
No one will make a jumbo cabinet, pay money to ltte unless he is mad.No one will start war, bomb buses, use suicide bombers or dreaming of eelam unless he is mad.

This idiot's response to Hon Kadiragama's death was to come on TV and tell the grieving nation that he is going to close the liquor bars and butcher shops and is that the response we get from a minster at the hour of our national grief? Fortunately had my duty free which I drowned this great loss of life.Kadir was well know to the citizens of Kandy and our collage,TCK.All the spineless traders in Kandy refused to sell us white cloth for flags, and when I desperately used a big white bed sheet as a flag,it was promptly taken down by a high ranking Police officer, the reason was it was coming to the Esala poya and how ridiculous the situation in SL.It is sad that our leaders have made a noble religion to their advantage to suppress and trample it's citizens.
