Tiger roadbomb kills seven in Sri Lanka
A suspected Tamil Tiger roadside bomb has hit a civilian bus in northern Sri Lanka, killing at least seven people and wounding 28.
Officials say the bus was involved in the mine attack outside the town of Vavuniya, 250 kilometres north of the capital Colombo.
A soldier was reportedly among those killed.
Police says 19 injured civilians have been admitted to hospital, as well as seven solders injured in the blast. |

Not a very good logic pal,(Lion story) there are new micro satellite analysis to prove the genetic relationship between Sri lankan Tamils and Singhalese.
It shows stunning results,but due to ethical grounds i am not going to talk about it.
There are number of fossils believed to be of Lions are found in Sri lanka. |

Why would the tigers be so stupid to kill and antogonise the singhalese. There are at least 50 who work for the tigers. Singhalese politicians readily provide the tigers with money. Lastly there are so many pro LTTE singhalese in colombo. Next there are so many singhalese thugs who run the South who are willing to work for LTTE as an when required.
When the tigers did it earlier it was more a tit for tat action. Today they do not want to antogonize their friends and have matured reasonabily. All the recent actions for at least the last 5 years have shown this.
The MOST IMPORTANT of all when the tigers do not target civilians and ensured that their suicide attack take less civilian colletral damage (possibly why some missons have failed), it shows their confidence in their military capacity and the possiblity to strike agian. This has been amply been illustrated on the attack of KAB in 2001 and 2007.
Wow mate :) you could replace Anton Bala any day I guess :)

Jaffna Tamils and Kandyan singhalese are most likely related but they are so mixed up with other races you can never know.
The eastern tamils and low country singhalese are probaily also close cousins.
Guess which of these groups are scraficied in the war beteen the kandyan and Jaffna tamils.
So you are also one of those Jaffna tamils who doesn't like Batti(eastern) tamils? |

The harassment of a democratic, developing, diverse, multi ethnic and a small sport loving nation, who happen to be world beaters in the game of cricket, by AI at an international sport venue is an embarrassingly ill thought out attempt at promoting the interests of a terrorist organisation. Playing into the agenda of the LTTE, which is banned in their own country, is perhaps borne out by trade mark misplaced sympathy or the Tiger infiltration.
The composition of the SL cricket team itself are signs of peaceful coexistent, social maturity and a confident nation, not of an ethnic conflict.
What?s happening with regard to HR at home is that the nation is paying the high price of eradicating brutal terror to the detriment of personal freedom and quality of overall HR. If in doubt on any of these just ask British home secretary or his counterpart across the pond.
The ultimate result of this campaign will be the tarnishing of the very image and reputation of the AI on the world stage.
I just wonder whether did the AI missed their chance at this world cup to remind the British government to bring troops, who are fuelling the insurgency and thereby violating the rights of the people, home from their joint venture with America in Iraq. Does AI recognize the rights of these affected people? If they?re going to wait till the end of this Sunday?s game, Eng Vs Aus, I guess it will be too late then!
Duplicity of these sorts of organisations is unbelievable to say the least. |

AI must be on LTTE payrole. Imediate action must be taken to ban them worldwide. SL ministers should fly with their families to top europen countries in the process. As they are too hardworking, a weeks rest for a days work is conidered quentesential.
