Yes swastika, does it hurt that I do not support your terrorist state in ANYTHING.

How would I dare to support the team of the terror state that has killed 3 of my relatives, that continues to starve hundreds of thousands of my people, that forces thousands more out of their homes and continues a racist war when it is so easy to have peace.

Never in a million years.

If other Tamils wish to support the terror state that is their problem, but I will proudly stand against anything and everything Sri Lankan!

P.S. it is quite ironic for a guy calling himself 'swastika' to be calling me a white lover.

Seven civilians killed in LTTE claymore attack on passenger bus -VAVUNIYA
7 Apr 2007 - 09:58
7 tamil civilians were killed and around 26 injured in an LTTE claymore mine attack targeting a MANNAR - VAVUNIYA passenger bus near the 28th km post in the PIRAMANAYAKULAM area in VAVUNIYA around 7.30 a.m. today (07).

Off target, getting it wrong as usual:

Sri Lankan military intelligence has resorted to attacks against Tamil and Sinhala civilians to depict a bad pattern of deliberate attacks against civilians with a 'sinister motive' of tarnishing the image of the Liberation Tigers, charged Irasiah Ilanthirayan, military spokesman of the Liberation Tigers, Saturday after the latest Claymore attack that targeted a civilian bus on Vavuniya Mannar Road.
'Sri Lankan military intelligence establishment has devised bomb attacks and wanton killings during the last 2 weeks with a sinister motive of tarnishing the image of the Tigers,' Mr. Ilanthirayan told media.

'Colombo has already lost it's face in the International arena with it's worst human rights record.'

'When the International Community is carefully observing the developments in the ground, the Sri Lankan establishment hopes to take advantage by tarnishing the image of the Tigers by attempting to paint a bad picture of the LTTE as a party engaged in deliberate attacks against civilians,' the Tiger spokesman added.

Why would the LTTE want to draw negative attention to themselves while the government is doing such a good job of making Sri Lanka a terror state in the eyes of the IC?

Who benifits from these attacks? The LTTE or the GoSL?

Do the math!

here read your government bovine excreta:

The Government believes that the LTTE is deliberately targeting civilians in an attempt to mount pressure on the Government to stop the humanitarian missions launched to free the civilian population from the brutal clutches of the LTTE. The LTTE has always resorted to cowardly terror attacks against civilians in the face of continuous defeats suffered at the hands of the Security Forces.

Wow so the LTTE is killing Tamils to stop the government from carrying out 'humanitarian missions' that have so far killed even more Tamils, over 2,000 at least, and displaced 300,000+?????

I guess this kind of logic only works in the terror state of Sri Lanka.

Ya Ya just like the dravidians who migrated to Gondwana - the present Australia.

This was the basis of the claims of your LTTE bretheren to Australia as your homeland.

You guys claimed that you were in OZ before the aborigines.

Sri Lanka protects rights of the Bull

Sri Lanka decided to ban traditional Thirikkal race in order to protect the bulls.
The new law comes ahead of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year festival. The government says this is to uphold Mahinda Chinthanaya.

In a statement issued from the Presidential Secretariat, the government banned the sporting activity enjoyed by many rural Sri Lankans.

'All police personnel have been instructed to prevent the incidence of cruelty to cart bulls in the Hackery (Sinhalese & Tamil ? Thirikkal ) races organised in connection with the forthcoming Sinhala and Tamil New Year festivities in Sri Lanka,' says the statement.

'Tails squeezed!'

In an interview with the BBC, the minister of cultural affairs Mahinda Yapa Abeywardhana said that it is important to protect the animals. 'If you watch these races you see how much suffering these animals go through.

They get beaten and the tails are squeezed. We can't allow this to happen in a Buddhist country

minister of cultural affairs

They get beaten and the tails are squeezed. We can't allow this to happen in a Buddhist country', the minister said.

The statement said the police had been instructed to uphold the new laws.

'Inspector General of Police Victor Perera has issued instruction to this effect to all Officers in Charge of Police Stations through the relevant Deputy Inspectors General and other senior police personnel'.

Mahinda Chinthanaya

The government say the action of the Police is in keeping with President Rajapaksa?s policy against cruelty to animals as stated in his policy statement ? the Mahinda Chinthana.

Animal Rights and Welfare Organisations have informed the Presidential Secretariat of the need to stop the widespread cruelty carried out on cart bulls used in these hackery races, mainly by carters who are under the influence of liquor.

They have said the level of cruelty is such that these events should not be seen by children.

When asked if the restriction will extend to the bullock carts, the minister said, 'No, we have not thought that far ahead yet!'

There is however no move to ban Elephant races or Horse races, the minister added.

The statement says that members of the public are entitled to report to the police any acts of cruelty to animals at these hackery races or in the preparation for them.

According to the statement, the IGP's instructions require the police to advice the organizers of these races to ensure there is no cruelty to animals, to caution those who are likely to cause such cruelty, and where necessary take action against any perpetrators of cruelty under the Cruelty to Animals Ordinance.

upholding cultural values

Recently the government issued a statement asking all government institutions to only serve traditional food at all occassions and only greet visitors in Sinhala or Tamil.

Cultural ministry also published advertisements in national press asking all advertisers to not to use any pictures of men and women with no upper garment.

When asked if this included tourist board advertisments with maidens from Sigiri frescos, the minister said that it is only a request and not a decree.

'We just ask people to prevent using such images in order to protect our culture'.
