This is to prevent the website from becoming a ludicrous trash site

Oops! Too late now...it's been a ludicrous trash site for years!

Tamilnet.com claimed that 40% SLAF striking capability had been damaged by LTTE's catapults sourcing unnamed and unknown SLAF sources

An unnamed and unknown SLAF source also told me that the Tigers have a B-52! This is serious!

So,all in all, our struggle for freedom has brought benefit for the majority of Tamils.

True. So many tamil students are studying in western universities. After graduation, so many are in good positions either in academic or in industry. Thanks to state terrorism.

Sister Tigrees,
I am fine.....looking forward to watch the World Swimming championship and the match!!
the govt of south is in a catch 22 situation while they claim sovereignity over the north and east!

Yes its funny situation..one of a kind in this world...while GOSL pays LTTE does the administration at the gunpoint:):)

the people are drawing money in the north and east for the work they do , not for nothing!!

Yes I aggree

so it do not mean we are part and parcel of the debt!!

Do not agree because its like a thieve's son saying that he did not but only his father stole the money he is using to pay for his meal!!!.......If you don't like begged mony you should simply refuse it:):):)

one more point to note!!

the southern govt must be thankful to the ltte for *NOT* making the public sector to collapse in the north and east.

i cant see any reason for ltte not doing that. if it happens, the southern govt will face a serious problem.

COLOMBO (AFP) - Sri Lanka plans to hold a referendum on whether to maintain a fragile five-year-old ceasefire between government troops and separatist Tamil Tiger rebels, a state-run newspaper said Sunday.

Why referendum? Sinhala judicial system can announce that the CFA is void like PTOMS and North-east demerger. With this referendom, huge money can be sent to swiss bank accounts.

I *CAN* see a good reason...they simply can't sustain the infrastructure without GOSL providing things......it would be people will be in trouble rather than GOSL if they do that and an empty stomach can many things...anyway, it would be a humanitarian disaster like Darfur

SLAF attacks civilian lorries at LTTE entry point

TamilNet, Sunday, 01 April 2007, 04:18 GMT

Fighter helicopters of the Sri Lankan Air Force (SLAF) Saturday night around 11:30 p.m. attacked a Multi Purpose Co-Operative Society (MPCS) lorry and two other lorries belonging to private traders parked near puliyangkulam LTTE checkpoint on A9 road, north of Omanthai Sri Lanka Army entry point in Vavuniya district.

The lorry belonged to Thunukkai MPCS, initial reports said.
Details of damages caused to civilian supplies and properties are yet to be estimated.
Following the night mission airstrike by the Tigers Tamileelam Air Force (TAF) on Katunyake airbase, the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) has been engaging its bombers and helicopters in late night attacks.

yes, It must be a pain to the govt in the ltte controlled areas while they pay for public sector and the public servants obey what the ltte say to them.

all in all, the ltte is there *ONLY* to give as much pain as possible TO THE GOVT any way. it is an insurgent as well as resisting movement with a name tag( ltte).

for the second point ,, about the thieve....
you cannot procecute the son or the wife. the wife or the son cannot be jailed for the father or the husband's crime.

so ML, there is a problem, while the govt claim sovereinity over north and east, it should pay to run the public sector without any returns.

so i still beleive the north and east are not responsible for the debt but the one who borrowed or borrowed on behalf of some one( sinhalese).
