Australian LTTE head Late Jeyakumar supplied light aircraft to the LTTE
Sources close to the LTTE confirm their 54 years old Australian head Thillainadarajah Jeyakumar who passed away on 29 March 2007 was responsible for sending one of the light aircrafts to LTTE in Vanni which took part in the air raid by the LTTE in Colombo.
Information reaching through the LTTE circles following Jeyakumar?s death confirms he hatched the plan to send the plane with the international arms procurement man of the LTTE K Pathmanathan known as KP who is said to be living somewhere in a far-eastern country.
Jeyakumar has taken the leading role in sending the aircraft components to Vanni. He is said to be a frequent visitor to far-eastern countries to meet KP. The aircraft was said to be sent to Vanni during 2002/03.
Jeyakumar has played a pivotal to control the international finances of the LTTE and was engaged with KP to transact money for international deals.
He studied at Jaffna Vaideeswara College and was not active in politics in Sri Lanka before he migrated overseas.
Jeyakumar and Dr Sathi worked hand in glove in Australia for the LTTE. Whilst Jeyakumar was controlling the finances his number two Dr Sathi was controlling the real assets of the LTTE in Australia. Following the arrest of Dr Sathi following Australian intelligence inquiry into the LTTE finances, sources said Dr Sathi started to act like an insane and this lead to his name being removed from the Australian medical list.
Jeyakumar is said to be a good manipulator and very protective of his position with the LTTE. He prevented anyone rising up to challenge his position and authority and is known to be a long standing office holder for the LTTE overseas.
It is said Jayakumar accompanied Adale Balasingam?s mother from Australia for the funeral of Late Anton Balasingam last December in London.

.even now SL tel com 35% ownership is been bought by a sri lankan background tamil who born/lives in malaysia...ananda krishnanan-second wealthiest man in Southeast Asia (and world's 119th)

At present The gov is begging, they dont care how the mnoey comes to the country, Just to fill up the pockets.
Basil the bassa in involved with a UK tamil in buying the sl telcom shares, may be you dont know,
man as per you all tamils are tigers, I would say 70% tamils support tigers, more than 50% want eelam, 30%belive in fedral state, the rest dont have an answer and 15 %who are living happily with sinhalaes.

What happened to Bangladesh Vs Australia. Australia had easy time with a weak opponent.

Wonder what explanation was given for the 20% Inflation!
It is a known fact that the CBSL is packed with Govt. henchmen who cook-up figures to suit the rulers.
The SL economy supposed to have grown by 7.4% in 2006 is second only to China!
At the moment SL has the highest unemployment rate in the South Asian region according to the WLO.
