On the downside, inflation rate jumped to 13.7 percent in 2006, up from 11.6 percent in 2005. The year-on-year inflation rate hit 20.5 percent in January.
This kind of very high inflation nullifies GDP growth... the main reason for inflation is the war.. |

I prefer Hayden malli for sixes..Australia if they play like this will take a lot of beating and i don't see any team capable of beating them..They will be again Champions..
Still don't write off Sri Lankans... they are good too and can surprise Australians.

Tigers dont send money legaly, hope you know that. and they dont invest in sri lanka, they know well about lankan ecconomy.
Not even a single share they hold colombo stock market.
Remember what india said about tigers controlling their market...even now SL tel com 35% ownership is been bought by a sri lankan background tamil who born/lives in malaysia...ananda krishnanan-second wealthiest man in Southeast Asia (and world's 119th)
