The Govt must see other countries in turmoil and try to find a peaceful solution with sincere commitment. Because of this extremist and inhuman policies and ill treatment of Tamils the international community did not heed to its request to condemn LTTE's aerial attack on purely military target.
LTTE may not be a match to the SL Securuty Forces but they can cause huge destruction to both military and civilian establishment.
What the president has to consider is if there is an ethnic problem created by Sinhala Only act and if so how best to solve it rather than listening to hardliners Sareth Fonseka and his brother Gatbhaya Rajapakse. |
