Air-strike, a warning to SLAF- Thamilchelvan
Friday, 30 March 2007 - 10:13 PM SL Time

Liberation Tigers Political Head S.P. Thamilchelvan, stating that the air strike by the Tigers on the nerve centre of the Sri Lankan Air Force (SLAF) in Katunayake was `a one hundred percent successful mission,` Thursday told media in Kilinochchi that the `precision air strike` by the Tigers on the SLAF was a `clear message` to the Sri Lankan state, to end the sustained bombardment of the Tamil homeland. `Within the last 6 months alone, the Sri Lankan Air Force has carried out at least 2 sorties every other day for more than 90 days. Hundreds of Tamil civilians have been killed, many wounded, and hundreds of thousands have been displaced due to the repeated bombardment,` he added

`More than one third of the Tamil population in the eastern districts have been forced to lead a miserable life as Internally Displaced Persons due to the military aggression,` Thamilchelvan said.

More than 150,000 civilians have been made IDPs by the agenda of war by the Sri Lankan state, he added.

`Colombo, mindful that a military defeat of Tigers was not possible, is keen to drag other countries to fight the inhumane war against the Tamils,` Thamilchelvan said.

The Sri Lankan agenda of distancing the Tigers from the International Community by projecting the LTTE as a `threat to the regional or the International players,` will not work, said Thamilchelvan responding to questions from media in Kilinochchi on the pre-dawn air strike by the Tigers Monday.

`The Liberation Tigers of Tamileelam (LTTE) as a liberation movement is championing the cause of political liberation of the Tamil people, running a responsible governing apparatus with a clear democratic mandate of the Tamil people, and has progressed to a matured state formation process.

`Our military infrastructure operates in the very same way as any other conventional military infrastructure of a state,` he said.

`Our forces are built and trained for the purpose of achieving freedom for our motherland and to consolidate it.

`Our struggle is aimed at achieving our own freedom, and we are no threat to anyone else other than the oppressive Sri Lankan state we are fighting against,` he concluded.

As in yesterday's CNN was told 99 percentage of Tamils are behind the LTTE!
We support the LTTE whole heartedly!
Tamils gave the mandate in 1976 to TULF.
But the parliamentarian methods adopted by the TULF were scuttled by the then GOSL.
Eldery Tamils and the politicians didn#t know what to do.
Tamil Students Leaque, under the leadership of youngsters P. Sivakumaran, P. Satihyaseelan and Ariyaratnam took over for lack of confidence and support for a spearate state.
Mr. Prabhakaran made Tamils to awake and arise!
Tamils are behind him and LTTE.
There can be no second word about it.

Oh, quite some time we didn?t hear anything from the barber. Has he also been to one of these flying schools to feel more comfortable in a Tamil Eeelam Air Force Pilatus?

Where he is right though is that it was good propaganda for the LTTE, especially in some Western countries not very familiar with =Sri Lankan folkloric events=. Anyway a good warning for the SLAF who can only blame themselves and not the Indian radars.

Air-strike, a warning to SLAF- Thamilchelvan

All the more reason to re-double the bombing... while dividing the LTTE terrorist dogs and SWETs... instigatig killings within...

So far the results of hammering the dogs have been very encouraging!

The killings and terrorist attacks reduced in 2006 as compared to 2005.

Beat that!

LTTE never depend on anyone like SL does. Only LTTE depend on its own people everywhere. That is the real strength.
No matter how the GOSL try to block/ban the Diaspora from helping LTTE is not going to work out. When someone denied her/his rights will fight till they get it or die with dignity. Tamils went through a lot and now coming back with vengeance.

I hope srilankan government take this warning seriously.

if one thinks if LTTE joking with propeler plane.

you need shofisticated technology to create a super soonic plane but to distroy it a granade is enough.

Even if LTTE had whiped the whole airport that day would had to stay silent because they lost the right to question.
because tamils are beeing killed by security forces and tamils homes are bombed everyday they dont even say a word of condem what rights these countries have to say anything about it?

We tamils are fully backing tigers no matter what.
its better srilankan government get the message earlies.

they made a mistake when tamil protested for devolution years ago and decided to heavy handed tamils.
thais is the result of it.

if they make the same mistake again srilanka will learn a right leson.
