Revy,
We got nothing to lose by going for an independant state.
and nothing to gain too, as a matter of fact there are things 'you' are losing, and most of all people's lives and quality of everyday life.
I simply can't count the whole list here.
It is 'people' who live abroad and do donations to worsen this matter got nothing to lose in Sri Lanka.
Most of the Tamils in Sri Lanka have many things to lose and list starts from the thing called 'life'. |

Do you think IC cares about SL? US has a big interest in SL 'coz it wants to have a close eye on India and China. Every country is after money and power, looking after its own interests and doesn't care about others.
Do you think same can be said about SL? The politicians say they r all looking after the country from Terrorism.
LTTE wouldn't have grown to this extent if Singhala government gave the Tamils what is fair. However it didn't. For the future generation of Sinhalese to think that Tamils asking far beyond thier capacity like the older generation is saddening. Open your eyes and see. Don't just repeat whatever the government is saying, but think for urselves. |

What have you guys given us?
Nothing so far.....u tell me!
Apart from of course:
1) Constant bombardment By Kfirs and MiGs
2) Looted our houses, taken away all our valuable stuff, which were bought over our parents' lifetime,
3) Bombed people's houses
ATLEAST this is just properties, which can be replaced.
But, humans .....ur relatives, brothers, sisters and grandparents who have been lost are non-replaceable. The heartache, the pain caused by it still stays with you until you die. What do you do with the hatred and anger built up over the years?
All the happy times we had with our large family were all in the past. The families all scattered everywhere, in most Tamil ppl's life.
Who's responsible for all this? GoSL........
However, I must say Thank you GoSL for all this, otherwise Tamils wouldn't have come this far. It allowed the Tamils to have a stronger mentality in life, especially those suffered in war. |

It is too late for arguing anything, The Damage is already done by 2 major Singala ruling Parties. Now it is up to Tamils to decide which land they were living before Singala ethnic cleansing. GOSL worshippers can say anything, It is the Tamil leadership which will decide it all including the SL president.
The way i see it, soon there will be major changes in SL soon. There will be Military debacles and the economy will crumble and the IC will show a blind eye to all. SL will go bankrupt, World Bank may take over and dictate what to do. |
