Let me ask all the sinhala forum members..
This war is between LTTE and the Gosl..not Tamils against sinhalese..
why can't the Gosl just Target Vavuniya?, they should know where the real terrorists are, they know the LTTE bunkers, why not just bomb the LTTE and finish the whole issue,
if they can go around bombing all over other than vavuniya and boast about capturing LTTE camps why not stop everything just concentrate The LTTE real hide outs my sinhala friends!!

You assumption that whole Wanni is LTTE is wrong. Not all the tamils are LTTE. Many LTTE caders working for money. that is their only way to have employment.
There are many LTTE caders in Colombo and all over the south.
So, bombing alone will not work.
Once all the Wanni civilians come out, CARPET BOMBING IS ANOTHER POSSIBILITY. |

all in good time. Bombing the population centers in Killi is not viable as it will kill many civilians since the LTTE made sure that their hideouts, offices, etc are intertwined with the rest of civilian buildings. Why kill the 100 innocents for 1 LTTE target? Time will come when SLAF use its precision bombing and then we will see a change in the bombing tactics. |
