Saint mate, that is life on the paradise isle: extreme, has been extreme for us from before 1972
As you already know I am not a big fan of this war, and I know how it feels when the powerful majority leaders say that they are giving the day off for police.
But, by arguing in the past won't help, we need to see what we can do now/today to solve this matter. Edited By - Saint - 19 Mar 2007 13:02:44 GMT |

Rish
why are you insulting Vincent's parents?
I am reporting you for abuse
Also, you have about 1,500 posts, I only have less than 1000 posts. You are not a Senior Member. Why is that? Edited By - captain98 - 19 Mar 2007 13:05:00 GMT |

this is the same website that had a hard-on in August last year over a similar incidentl; this time it was regarding the time and date stamp on a picture they released when reporting the aid worker killing.. |

Mate I would agree with you if there were signs that mistakes of the past would not be repeated, but I don't see any such thing from those in power, if you do please point it out to me.
They have been talking about politcal packages for how long now? we go from this month to next month and they keep dragging it out, now they say April, in April it will be May. All in the hope that they can militarily defeat the LTTE before they have to put forward a package.
If anything materialises it is going to be the same village head man BS, just watch mate. So there is nothing wrong with looking at the past in this case as it is still our present.

Has anything changed for the Tamil people?
Anyway this was interesting, glad to know they are still using Paki 'stones', 40% failure rate, nice!:
Ms Sathyavathy, the injured teacher said from Kilinochchi hospital, ?We did not hear the Kfirs coming and suddenly the bombs came down. Five bombs fell only 50 metres from the school. Three of them exploded. I was holding a class under a tree. When the explosion was heard we all started running towards the adjacent bushes. |

And if there was a time stamp it would have been doctored, etc. etc. anything but owning up that the so called military of the divine nation makes it a habit to kill civilians.
Of course not the divine land is faultless, carry on old boy. |

4th lead on the article and still no pictures!!..
It gets even better:
''..TamilNet correspondent who visited the site of the attack witnessed a second air strike at 11:45 a.m..''
We're thankful the correspondent wasn't injured from this mysterious air strike that has left no imprint to photograph ..
Lets do some math shall we..
The correspondent was there at 11:45am, its now 17:00pm .. 5hrs have passed .. surely this correspondent would have contacted his editor and returned back to his office by now.
Is it me or is it normal for a reporter not to have taken any pictures of at least something to demonstrate to the world this heinous habit of the SL government, which is to target innocent school children.
Still no pictures!!.. :)
This article is getting funnier every minute.. :)
Look at these stats:
The 81mm mortar rounds the LTTE used to attack the diplomatic convoy with weigh around 5kg (explosives + shell).. these shells landed more than 50m away and we heard about the damage it did..
Listen to tamilnet:
''..Three bombs were dropped 25 meters from a class room. A bomb that hit a tree exploded in the air, wounding two children and a teacher..''
The Mk-81 250lb bomb commonly used by the Kfir weighs 113kg (explosives + shell).
And 3 of these landed some 25m away from this school with little children.. supposedly
Tamilnet expects its readers to believe that these children were only badly injured and not killed by 3 bomb's, each 20 times more powerful than a 81mm mortar round, exploding some 25m away..
This article is sensational!!.. |
