Fair enough. I personally take people on their word.
Even if they are Tamils what they preach will indirectly help the LTTE cause which is separate Nation, Eelam by propagating war..
Going by that logic, even people like me indirectly support the LTTE by supporting armed action against them. Do you seriously think that bunch of separatists are any match for the professional armed forces of a sovereign nation any more? True, the Tigers inflicted many defeats on the SLDF before Mahinda came to power, but now, apart from Muhamulai, the Tigers have been on the run. The Govt tried to negotiate but did Prabhakaran listen?

True. If it wasn't for Prabhakaran, Ranil would be President by now. It doesn't matter how many voted for Ranil or Mahinda, because most Sri Lankans want peace. Ranil would have pressed for negotiations, but Prabha obviously thought that a hawk (Mahinda) was better than a dove (Ranil). Grossly underestimating the SLDF, Prabha blocked the Mavil Aru anicut, and here we are now!
The LTTE certainly enjoys much more than 50% support among the Tamil people.
Carry out a survey of all the Lankan Tamils on this issue in the world and show me the results. Then we'll discuss it. |

Hello! Yes, I was really shocked when I heard of Woolmer's death. They say it could be stress or a heart attack. Inzamam has quit one-day cricket. Poor Pakistan!

Definitely, it was sad to hear this story. Just few mints ago i was going through Bob's image gallary in cricinfo.

Just before the CFA agreement The SLDF was in total defeat and Chandrika went to India asking immediate help for evacuating 40000 soldiers from Jaffna, These soldiers are made of the Best fighting divisions, Soon as Elephant pass debacle,
The SLDF is totally on the run. In the East, Karunas defection was a great lost 6000 fightes with weapons, mind you it is only in the east, the rest is intact, Now it has been enhanced to a great extent. The military mentality is still the same, poor south fella joined the SLDF for a monthly income to keep his family survive without starving. Rajapaksas did not in any way change the militalry equllibrium expect buying some MIGs. So any one who propagate war infact help the LTTE, Thats is why LTTE wanted Rajapaksas to win.

There are some Rich - Tamils in the USA. At least one Doctor is supporting LTTE and he some how wants EELAM while being a rich man in USA.
Because, he has excess money that he wants to sepnd for some cause.
Those tamils are the curse.
But, USA gives all the support so that money ends down in the SEA BOTTOM thanks to SLN. |

Why are Sinhalese so worried about who gives money to LTTE? They seem to be telling everyone the GOSL is winning against the LTTE but they seem to be so frightened about some people who are giving a few dollars to the LTTE?
This dose not sound like a Gov. who is winning anything. It sounds like there is fear in their words.
GOSL gets money from everywhere, they have state of the art aircraft and navy vassles and a very strong army of 150,000 highly trained men with the latest equipment, the US is supplying them with all the weapons it will ever need. What more do they want?
Why the fear?
What can a few LTTE carders do?
Why dose the GOSL wait? It should have wiped out the LTTE a long time ago....... |
