ANURADHAPURA: TIGER TERRORISTS, now poised to create mayhem and bloodbath elsewhere when they are getting badly battered, resort to take more and more civil targets, as evidenced in Sunday (18) evening?s mortar attack on the populated ETHAWETUNAWEWA village area in ANURADHAPURA district.
One 15-year old girl and a 65-year old woman sustained injuries in the LTTE mortar attack on the village at about 7.30 p.m. while many villagers were home preparing their dinner.
Panic-stricken villagers including hundreds of children ran out of their homes turning the whole area into chaos as the troops rushed to the scene and brought the situation under control after evacuating the injured to hospital.
As the teenager?s condition turned worse, she was transferred to ANURADHAPURA hospital after initial treatment at PADAVIYA hospital. |

that is not the right way to bomb the area my friend, we should ensure the innocent people are safe and warning in the morning and bombing in the evening will only have more deaths.
Why you always 'complain'???
There are fool proof Karuna members guided missiles comes in white vans and pick the target 100% accurate. No Civilians were injured. Some people still complain!!
