20 Indian fishermen injured in Pesalai clash
At least 20 Indian fishermen were injured in a clash between them and Sri Lankan fishermen in the seas off Pesalai, police said.

They said the clash occurred when the Sri Lankan fishermen tried to chase away the Indian fishermen who were illegally fishing in the Sri Lankan waters. The Indian fishermen had been allegedly attacked with swords, clubs and iron bars. The injured fishermen have been admitted to the Mannar hospital while 55 Indian fishermen along with 23 boats have been taken into custody.

If India give vessels, Lanka will accept..

But they will not accept the Indians on Lankan vessels

May be they smell fishy...

by one of my Indian friend. He also said that Sri Lanka cannot escape after killing 400 Indian. I don't know when 1987 history is going to repeat. But I know who and who going to betray GOSL and Sinhalese.

Sri Lanka should reconsider itīs decision to let Indian naval officers on board, this can be an initiative to make a long lasting confederation with india, Sri Lanka being a confederate partner will dilute Tamil seperatism of both sides of the polk strait

We all know why . But is it something India will like as it is the biggest financier in SL. What will happen if India decides to teach SL a lesson for not obeying its wishes as it gives so muct to SL?
I am sure India must be fumeing mad as most of the Vassles in the SLN was bought with Indian money.
Best thing is now any death at sea will automatically be the fault of the SLN.
SL is positioning itself to be -removed-ed.

SL paying compensation to India? SL is a Berger state . SL pay compensation?
India don't hold your breath.

For a Berger nation it talks too much. Know who you are. India is a superpower and what is SL? This is the mistake SL makes all over. It feels it is at par with others which is most definitely not. The others are just being kind . Do not push your luck.

India as a powerful country in this region should ban sl navy operations in indian ocean. India should seek Tigers help to achieve swift end to this sl menace. India can do this discreetly.
