my father is from trinco. before he came to UK, he stayed in jaffna for few years. he was not regarded by jaffna tamils as 'eastern tamil'. my dad do not regard jaffna tamils as 'northern tamils'. you go to trinco you see many jaffna tamils, you go to jaffna you see many batticaloa and trinco tamils. we dont diferentiate, only people who differentiate jaffna, batti, and trinco tamils are few sinhala supremacists, like KARUNA.

Eskimo, saman09 and rash
it is time the govt propose and put a *VIABLE* solution on the table!
i bet the govt has no guts to do that and will not do!

the USA knew very well that MAHINDA WILL NOT BETRAY THE MOTHER LANKA!!:))

SO Mr. Blake and Mr.Mann said , the govt must propose a solution acceptable to all section of people in this country.

My mom is from Jaffna and she was regarded as a Sinhalese as she married a senior officer of SLA.

I have been to Trinco so many times. i Will Be in trinco in couple of weeks, I know about Jaffna Tamils.so we shouldn't talk about them.

just for being born or living outside sri lanka does not necessarily make someone less sinhalese or tamil, and therefore does not give them less right to talk about sri lanka politics

i met a sinhalese in my uni who lived in sri lanka his whole life, but when to posh international school and cant speak with other sinhalese well in sinhala

i know this other sinhalese who can speak fluent sinhala, and born and brought up in a western country

so who is more sinhalese?
