Not all the Asians eat with hand, Chinese,Japanese,Koreans and some south east asians eat with chopsticks.
I think in the middle age a staple diet in Western world consisted of mainly with animal proteins ,potatoes etc (in order to compensate the energy loss) , so they had to use knifes and forks where as singhala and tamils had rice as their staple diet, which needs to be mixed well with fingers.

i would not even regard karuna as a tamil
i know lot of people from batticaloa and kalmunai, even from batticaloa town. they say karuna is a disgrace. all the abductions, killings and the banning of tamil newspapers in the region, he is a menace for all the tamils in batticaloa.

Lets look at the similarities between Sinhala and Tamil. We both use fingers to eat. Washing behind is now going away since the introduction of toilet papers back home, both Sinhala and Tamils did that for ages. One hand for one process while the other hand does the other. LOL. Shouldnt we look at the similarities and join hands instead of looking at differences and killing each other? |

depriving a particular group of people on ethnic lines is not a very good thing. it is very simple common sense! your past and present presidents failed/ failing to grasp the very point. |
