LTTE establishes an Information Technology Wing

By Sunil Jayasiri
LTTE Leader V. Prabhakaran has formed an Information Technology Wing headed by his son Charles Anthony, who returned to Kilinochchi recently with an Aeronautical Engineering Degree from the United Kingdom, sources said.

State intelligence units informed the government that this IT Wing, which started soon after the return of Charles Anthony six months ago, was studying all the satellite images, computer data gatherings and other computer related matters.

?Under this wing, a research wing was also formed to conduct research on air defence missile systems to overcome any air threat to them,? a top defence official said.

A few years ago, the LTTE leader sent his two children - son and daughter - to the United Kingdom for further studies.

Though the LTTE is using latest technology in the battle field, they never had a separate wing for this purpose. During the time of the Ceasefire Agreement, they were able to obtain the latest equipment, such as an air defence system, latest communication systems, audio and video broadcasting systems etc.

The intelligence units also warned the government that this latest Wing of the LTTE would pose a major threat to the government forces.

'When the Sri Lankan army is seemingly winning , there is no talk of negotiated settlement as a 'military solution' appears in the horizon. When there are major setbacks in the field like the one earlier and now in Mullathivu, there is an offer of settlement.'

This is why there will never be peace in this country or fair treatment of tamils

Vince:

I was hitting back at Freethinker in the same wavelength that he thinks in.

Anyways mate, its bizzare that these Sinhala chauvinist mutts are unable to comprehend simple logic. Tamil who are traditionally fishermen and have sailed so far as Cambodia and Bali (based on the presence of Hindu temples in these areas). Yet Sinhala historians tell us that Tamils were unable to land in Thamil Eelam before a bunch of Begali criminals in boats drifted ashore. An above average swimmer can swin the entire length of the Palk Striats in a few hours. Its not that thy dont realise this, its just the way these Sinhala racists substantiate their twisted logic to deny Tamil people their fundamental right to self determination.

Piedomon, I know what you mean, it is amazing they claim Sri lanka for themselves and as their mothland. That idiot Rish021, all he does is copy and paste infor from pro sinhala sites......and he thinks it MUST be true. It os simple logic, as you say, that tamils arrived first no matter what their book says, the fact is was written well after the event as well is another piece of evidence that it is fictional. These lie now and they lied then
