LTTE gunmen kill 'Savalkattu Fishery society' Vice-president - Jaffna
Alleged LTTE gunmen shot dead the Savalkattu Fishery society Vice-president Mr. Devendran Shammugarasa, 45, in Sudumalai south, in Jaffna on Friday, the 09th of March at 11.30a.m.
Civilian sources said that the killing was done by the terrorists, alleging the victim for cooperating with the security forces. Earlier, according to reliable sources Mr. Devendran has criticized the terrorist outfit for obtaining forced taxes from the fishery folks in the area. Some elements of the LTTE have also forcibly taken their fishing apparatus for refusing to pay the ransoms forced by the terrorist outfit.
Mr. Devendran had being strongly opposing the LTTE activities in the area and is said to have received many death threats, before being assassinated.

Fish trader shot dead at Aanaikoddai

Two unknown armed men on a motorbike rode into Chavakkadu Market at Aanaikoddai in Valigamam and shot dead a fish trader Friday at 9:00 a.m.
The victim was identified as Theiventhiram Shanmugarasa, 46, from Chavakkadu, Aannaikoddai.

Steven Mann should understand the problem of Sri Lanka. LTTE does not allow any other democratic Tamil party to talk. They believe only weapons. All big LTTEs are living happily in foreign countries. Only poor tamils are forced to fight against military forces. What they have achieved by fighting during last 25 years. How much Tamils in N-E have sacrified and faced difficulties.
In early 80's nearly 40% of doctors, engineers, accountants and good civil servants were Tamils. What is the present situation?. Most of educated tamils either left the country or living with sinhalese and muslims in south. Even if we have some settlement with Tamils they can't come to that position again in Sri Lanka as most of Sinhalse are educated and holding many senior positions in the private and state sector.
During the ceasefire they killed almost all military intelligent officers and finally they killed the foreign minister Kadiragamam. Therefore first upon we must destroy LTTE and then we must discuss with peaceful Tamils and Muslims in North and East separately and share the power with them in a democratic frame. At this stage we don't have such an environment, so we must fight and destroy LTTE. Some Tamils think this is impossible. But it is a pssible event.
Mann must think how they work in Iraq and Afghanistan. Do they negotiate with Al Kaida or Thalaibans?

Stop showing your dumb attitude.
The US even if they considered the LTTE as a Terrorist group ( which was forced upon by the GOSL's begging and crying) still dose not at any time call for the destruction of the LTTE instead is always telling the GOSL to share power with the LTTE.
This must send a very clear message to all of you morons: The US wants the LTTE to rule the Tamils or EELAM.
