There is no 'governance' in SL since 1948. SL is a failed state * many times. The carry on in SL is an insult to what is called governance. However, what is surprising is that there are still some pockets of population who beleive in the' carry-on'. We never learn from mistake. Instead we find someone or something to blame.
We need to carry on to be seen to be connected to the outside world. This is why we have to give preference to principles above reality. That gives us some credibility to share in Global resources. But we must also make our contribution to that society. How many of us are doing this - especially without expecting any material benefits out of it?
I do not see many. Do you?
About the CFA - it is this principles part. It must remain until replaced by Common Values discovered through our real work. We replace such Principles with Common Values when we believe that those common values are more beneficial to us than the unpracticed common principles.
This is why we need the CFA until we are able to deliver world class common values. May be it already exists and we need to collect and present it.
