Every action has equal and opposite reaction. That is the law of karma. If violence and corruption is promoted and enjoyed under pretext of war - then someone has to pay. Prisons promoted such corruption by imprisoning and punishing Tamils way above their earned levels. Now the karma is coming back to the prison system through its head.

True - not about olugediya but about standing still. We call it break-even. But when we work collectively - there are delays and accelerations in the effect and hence we do not stand still but keep moving. According to my Tamil education - Newton said that this in science. Hindus said it loooooong looong time ago - hence the system of karma. This is why Lord Krishna says - work without expecting the fruits of your action. In other words you will get the fruits of your action - naturally and the longer it takes the sweeter the fruits.

Yes. It is either cause or effect. If it is effect and is not deserved the person gets a better home / family.

We, sinhalese, are of such deceptive, manupulative nature that nobody knows who is speaking the truth. Wije is talking about conspiracy to kill him but he may be also conspiring to kill another. We love conspiracy theories. In SL soceity, people love conspiracy.
Remember he is from the forces. Forces are rotten from head to bottom. they consume a large chunk of national wealth for nothing. They keep the war going because it is benefial to them and their political masters. They should be enagaged in building roads, culverts and growing some cassava and sweet potatoes.
If would be very insteresting for an academic to do a research on the subject of 'Sri Lankan conspiracies since 1948'. |

There is no 'governance' in SL since 1948. SL is a failed state * many times. The carry on in SL is an insult to what is called governance. However, what is surprising is that there are still some pockets of population who beleive in the' carry-on'. We never learn from mistake. Instead we find someone or something to blame. Just take the case of CFA, having done everyting within their power to block it from working or being implemented, CBK/MR/JVP/JHU blame it for not bringing peace. CFA is a document which cannot bring peace. It is those who implment it who give it a chance and make it work. |
