I see lot of people questioning LTTE vessel, well our sailors are still there video taping the whole incident.
what I am not sure right now is if our boys are salvaging some of the equipment. I heard this area is about 700 feet deep we don't have the capability to dive that deep.
what I would like to know is how LTTE keeps -removed-ing up every time an arms shipment comes...
let me think ! ! !
I wonder, if other powers are at work, 185 miles south of Matara that is quite a distance. That is a bit away from international maritime boundaries.
It was perhaps detected by someone Else?
Did the US or Indian intelligence see this coming?

Because that shipment was worth close to 20,000,000 dollars that is cold hard cash that LTTE lost on top of the Ship that cost another 2-3,000,000 dollars.
that is if you take 2000 dollars per family for the Diaspora
10,000 family contributions
if Illegal immigration
20,000 immigrants fee or 500 boat loads of refugees
if cost of masala dosai ($1. each)
that is 23,000,000 masala dosai --someone really has to work hard
By the way did I mention the whole area is now scattered with plastic casings used for stoving Artillery shells.?

Wrong, I don't feel that way...In fact I separate Tamils from LTTE, if that is what you mean...
LTTE are Tamils by birth and through work. If you see a demarcation you are seeing another group that you think supports the GOSL.
And Tamils will be free once the LTTE is routed...I am sure of that...
Then you do not FEEL with Tamils. You may think with some Tamil individuals but do not feel with them - as if we were Sri Lankans just like you.
and, as I told you, am not an expert on Buddhism...but even with that, I am not prepared to accept your interpretation of Buddhism's universal truth...I prefer surfing the net and finding out to that...
since you say that I had gone to a westerner's site..

I am not interested in general information out in the net. I am interested in what you think and feel. If you have not invested enough in Lord Buddha then you are missing out on a big chunk of Sri Lanka.
ven there I don't see the three you mentioned as Buddhism's universal truth..
You won't see becasue YOU have not invested through your own environmental path. If you had then you would have converted mine without needing any external endorsement.

Even if LTTE will cease existance... Tamils will always be for a seperate state for themselves.... GOSL gotten into a hole from which they cannot come out.... thats why IC, India are asking GOSL for 'credible devolution package' |

in Toppi LTTE running to Badulla
in Vanni LTTE harassing families for thier sons and daughters
no tamil in Vanni is happy
in Colombo LTTE intelligence agents being sought and captured daily. All operations as they materialise gets busted.
losing boats, ships, arms, men, infrastructure.
when will LTTE grow some brains to really start thinking lets make peace and develop the area.
this Eelam in NE is a mirage that LTTE is chasing, it is no longer required. In the end all the leaders of LTTE will grow old and die. What will be left will be their evil foot print. |

Those days, one forged passport is US $ 25,000 minimum. Amount of extortion from a family is US $ 25,000.
So, at least 800 families need to be -removed-ed up.
Now these days, May be because of credit card fraud, this amount is simple.
In UK alone, they said US $ 140,000,000 from Credit Cards.
That is good business.

Western countries believe that some of this blood money earned from criminal activities are laundered in Sri Lanka.
GOSL need to check those wealth and CONFISCATE everything. |

Pay back to whom ?.
I know they have a very sophisticated business empire.
LTTE give money to people to establish business, in turn who ever established it need to pay a commission.
Many people take that path because it is easy establish here when you have capital to start something.
Even in the forum, sometimes people talk how Jews help other immigrant Jews to establish by that way.
Again, I have heard some of those people who established themselves with the help of LTTE, later tries to help LTTE by criminal means and get caught. |

AnuD: I have a few friends in CID (old school buddies) they paint a picture of a very seriously weakened LTTE.
what is left now are the isolated groups that are outside of colombo.
but most of these organisations are infiltrated by CID with exceptional brave Tamil Patriotic brothers who give the best details before large disasters take place.
not only that I am 'hearing' that LTTE is also infiltrated heavily (very easy especially since the LTTE is in dire need of men and women).
the job is getting done. the show is being run with the help of not only paks but also with india and US help. |
