what i said to you is on the idea of you telling the forum that LTTE will kill the fisherman and put the blame on SLN.
I find that a stupid statement coming from u. it can do nothing other than creating hatred in the forum..! |

Can i ask you two simple question?
1)Do you look at all Tamils as LTTE supporters?
2) Since your a muslim, do the sinhala people around you look at you differently when you speak Tamil (I am assuming as a Mulsim you will be speaking Tamil)? |

Sri Lanka's World Cup cricketers, led by Mahela Jayawardene, were given a grand send-off to the Caribbean yesterday by Sri Lanka Cricket, their supporters and well-wishers.
The team members assembled at Sri Lanka Cricket headquarters at five o'clock in the morning, prior to their departure to Barbados via London, and were served kavun and kiribath (milk rice) after a traditional religious ceremony had taken place.
At around half-past-six Jayawardene received a call from the President of Sri Lanka, Mahinda Rajapaksa, who is currently on an official visit to China. He conveyed his best wishes to the team and also personally spoke to Sanath Jayasuriya who, at 37, is the elder statesman of the team.
A dozen Grade 5 schoolgirls sang Jayamangala Gatha to invoke blessings and presented each team member with a rose for luck.
The previous night a leading private radio station organised a grand musical show at the R. Premadasa Stadium where members of Sri Lanka Cricket and supporters had the opportunity to meet the team members individually. A giant bat with over 100,000 signatures from around the country wishing the team a successful World Cup was also displayed.
The team's departure was telecast live by the national television channel Rupavahini. Sri Lanka Cricket sources revealed that the team has been promised about 30 percent of the participation fee of US$ 2.25million if they bring home the World Cup.
Sri Lanka, who won the World Cup in 1996, open their 2007 campaign on March 15 with a match against Bermuda at Queens Park Oval, Trinidad. Bangladesh and India are their other opponents in Group B. Sixteen countries are competing in the event that concludes on April 28 at Barbados.

u can ask me many not just two...
1. I have many Tamil friends who are vehemently opposed to LTTE terrorism....and I say many with emphasis...and I consider LTTE to be a terrorist outfit..and I know LTTE is not all Tamil community...that is for sure...
2. No my Sinhala friends never look at me awkwardly when I am with them..why should they???? that is the LTTE propaganda...not the reality..

why should i see any threat! don't you feel there is any threat for innocent people in SL itself and your worried about threat to the indian fisherman!! |

cool..what about the few who are your friends and support LTTE, I have come to that conclusion cos you said Many and not all your tamil friends!!

With all due respect to your knowledge and wisdom,
The IC includes more Tamils than Sinhalese and hence the intuitive wisdom.
Do you not think that the above statement you made is a bit ethnically biassed on your part???

aha! that is the point...u know that I told you that I support the war against the LTTE with all my strength...and if this 'future threat' I revealed here is not tackled correctly up front...well it will be a bad story...
and yes I am worried about the Inidan fishermen....not necessarily in their safety as a matter of fact...just in the scenario it would make against the GOSL and the SLN....
cos I know how bad the LTTE can be when it comes to committing cold-blooded crimes and putting the blame on to the other side....
That is just how they thrive....
And yes I am judgemental....to be honest...who isn't???
by the way do you speak in Tamil
