May be you choose 'not to see', or perhaps a little 'dense' up-stairs .. ?
What Commander Dasanayake was saying .. was to the effect .. 'SLN found 'evidence' of boxes which were containing artillery shells'. If you do not 'wish to see' .. you will not see. (Due to the explosion cases containing 'artillery shells' would have come apart, and the Navy would have found parts of wooden casings, with lettering to show, they contained shells).
