Navy media spokes person, Commander D.K.P. Dasanayaka told LeN that the destroyed vessel had been carrying ammunition for Artilleries. He said navy has discovered some boxes when they were adrift in the sea after the attack and later discovered that they contained artilleries. He said at least 10,000 ammunition used for artillery might have been onboard the suspected vessel.
Anyone who has served in the Armed Services will know that Boxes of Artillery Shells are Very Heavy, They Sink in Water, NOT FLOAT!
